Su Casa - Helmed by Suren Joshi (Pali Bhavan/Pali Village Cafe/Think Fitness Cafe) Romantic feel once you enter this compact place. It was nice to see the Christmas decorations. Interiors are cosy, would have loved to sit outside but due to rains it was shut. Atmosphere is blissful with Lush Landscape. Chef Anil has curated the new menu which has a mix of European/Middle Eastern food. They also focus on their salads. Coming to what we tried (Tasting Portions) Whiskey Sour - made to perfection. Went well with the Yam peri peri Chips which were given. Had that crunchiness to it and perfect with your cocktail. Red Quinoa Salad - Presented well. Basically Red quinoa with Pomegranate (sweetness) Blue Cheese (sharpness) raisins (sweet) Spinach & Honey Mustard Dressing - would have loved the punch of the mustard. Balance was perfect. Radish and Micogreens as a garnish. Vegetarian. Do order. Coban salatasi - it's a Turkish salad. Here the chef has given a bit of a twist to it. Non vegetarian. Pulled Chicken (tender) went well with the other elements. Healthy preparation for sure. Roasted tomatoes, Edamame, feta, cucumber, greens. Freshness at its best. Lovely. Brie Doll Mass with spicy apricot puree - this is so European but with a bit of citrus touch to it. Brie cheese wrapped in grape wine leaf steamed. Gives you that aromatic touch and saltiness from the cheese. Spicy apricot puree had a lovely texture, gelled well and balanced the entire dish. Radish and Micro greens as a garnish. Simple yet classy presentation. Loved it. Vegetarain. Red Sangria is a must have here (famous drink) went well with the Patata Prava (Spanish) here the chef has again given a twist. Scooped baby potatoes filled with tangy sauce (red pepper/vinegar) a bit of olive oil and some cheese. Overall this was a colourful dish and went well with the alcohol. Presented beautifully. Full marks. 24 Hours chicken - chef's speciality and a signature dish of this place. Basically he has used Dark Meat of chicken which makes it tender soaked in masala chaas or butter milk for 24 hours gets you the aromatic and herbs and a subtle masala flavour in it. Served with Tabuleh/olive dust and aioli. Middle Eastern preparation. Flavours subtle. Pan fried Halloumi - being a Halloumi lover I expected that salty taste. For me this was a Miss. Chef has somehow managed to get the saltiness out from the cheese. Original Flavour not there. Served with Chutney and salsa rose puree with charred asparagus. Some ingredients are not meant to be experimented. It looked in between a Hard Paneer and the cheese. Banana Leaf Wrapped Fish - John Dory, WOW nailed. Wrapped served steaming hot. A touch of Kerala. Kaffir lime, lemon grass, Kokum butter glaze. Fantastic flavours. Served with Parley. A pinch of lemon and you are set to have this amazing fish. Chef was kind enough to make a Vegetarain dish (Instead of Roulladen of Dark meat) he Used Spinach which was stuffed with Asparagus. Subtle In taste at the same time crunchy toasted Piccanuts enhanced the dish. English Cheddar vinaigrette sauce and Mushroom Jus. Presentation was amazing. Flavours were balanced well Overall a classic European dish. Desserts - Bitter Sweet chocolate slab - wow, this was amazing. Texture, smoothness, balance was great. Sweet and bitter chocolate with mousse along with caramel sauce, puffed quinoa crumble and Toasted walnut. A dessert which is a must have. Baba Au Rhum (guys) old MONK at its best. Not going much into the details this is a must order dessert. Comes with Crème Fraiche, pomegranate and dry fruits. Rich at the same time loaded with RUM Last but not the least Dessert of the Day: Layered savoury crisp baileys dollop - amazing. Presentation was terrific. Texture smooth. Basically rolled mousse with chocolate and caramel sauce, a bit of edible oil. Shall upload the picture for you guys to figure out. Polished it. Overall - This is a must visit place. Bookings required post 9 pm. Do try and give your inputs. Just a flaw with one dish - overall...

Read moreSu Casa is a beautiful restaurant. They have recently launched a new menu which I tried yesterday.
Starting with a protein bowl, this bowl came with Quinoa, edamame, tofu, greens, sprouts and almonds with a Dijon apple cider vinaigrette. Loved it. Was fresh, perfect amalgamation of texture. Would have loved it more if it had more Dijon and a little more seasoning. But a healthy bowl indeed.
Then tried the watermelon feta salad. It was well balanced. Juicy sweet watermelon, salty feta, balsamic and crunchy nuts. Perfect.
Avocado toast.. just how I like it .. loaded with avocado. Some chilli flakes. I don't like my Avocado over seasoned cause it destroys the avocados natural flavor. This was perfect.
Brie and fig crostini... Sweet figs and gooey brie.. a good combination. It was tad bit sweet for me.. a little salty ingredient would balance it.
Phyllo Mushrooms with balsamic drizzle, these were delicious. The pastry was super crunchy and perfect. The mushrooms were flavorful. Loved it.
Burrata Pizza.. thin crust, delicious pizza.. however the quantity of burrata was too less.
Cottage cheese steak with tomato stew and herb rice.. the cottage cheese was fresh and soft..but needed a little more seasoning. The herb rice could have been a little more flavorful. The stew was delicious. Overall a little bland for me. Could taste only the tomatoes.
Bitter Sweet chocolate slab... This was one of the best dessert I've had in a long time. Perfect harmony of bitter and sweet chocolate ganache. Loved it.
Overall the food is good, service and ambiance is great.
