TAJ KING SHAWARMA — Restaurant in Mumbai

I've been eating shawarmas from different localities for many years. While doing so I have always expected the shawaram to taste different. Similarly, I have had tried shawarma at this place long back during lockdown. But considering it used to be quite crowded with high in demand I did not like it but few days ago I went there accompanying my friend. We took 2 shawaram one shezwan and other olive one. My friend liked his shawarma and I liked mine too but I liked it very much as if I was eating a whole pizza or what! The taste kind of stuck in my head and felt like I am going to come here very often as and when I would want to eat it. Today, while going through news panel on Google I came across an article in which two Sheffs from top hotels had visited the mini food giant and they had put out the review of Taj King Shawarma, especially mentioned of Tajking Special Shawarma to be tried. I rushed there at night but it was quite late and reason being they were out of this type of flavor so with no choice I had to go for Olive One but again I enjoyed it this time TOO. It's a show of things mainly the huge shawarma stacked to attract however if you look at the quantity the same is not stuffed in your khabus...We ordered the one without salad i.e. no Vegetables only chicken which costs you INR 75 (15 bucks more than the regular one) however the disappointment is there is not extra chicken in place of the no salad and the khabus is double folded on the edges to make up for it....Very disappointed when i saw that folds inspite of paying the extra 15 bucks.....Taste is the same

Won't visit again and don't recommend either

We are a regular cx to this place. It all depends on trust. I had ordered 2 brown kaboos shawara as usual, to my surprise i noticed that the guy while shifting the kaboos drops it and he thought i wasn't watching he picke it up and continues with giving it to the counter to add rest of thr items. Immediately another guy sees me that I'm watching and instantly tells him replace the kaboos. I was shocked, he did this since my eyee where on them otherwise he would habe served the kaboos which was dropped on the ground. I urge everyone to be very careful and do not eat from this place especially when cases with shawarama eating...
