It’s nice to see people do what they like and believe in. The owner Rashna loves coffee in general and hence wanted to open up her own space someday. The Big Mug is her venture and they serve snacks along with an array of Coffee options.

Location and Proximity from station:

The Big Mug is situated in the by lanes of Citi Mall. This is a 5 minute rickshaw ride away from DN Nagar Metro station and 10-12 minutes away from Andheri Station.

Ambiance:

They have both; indoor and outdoor seating. The place can fit in 10-12 customers inside and another 10-12 outside. It’s a proper café place.

Coffee and Snacks:

We began the first round of coffee tasting with;

Mexican Mocha – Their signature coffee which is a best seller at the Big Mug. Rich and creamy along with edible glitter, the coffee not only looks pretty but tastes sweet too. No need to add sugar in this one!

Flat White – This is for those who like espresso and espresso based drinks. If sweet is what you want, then you must add sugar for sure. Recommended to those who like their coffee strong.

Iced Americano – Rashna helped me with a strong and bitter drink with the Iced Americano. Yes I loved it and so shall you. It’s strong and only if you prefer drinks so strong, you must go for it.

Hot Chocolate – The weather calls for it. The traditional hot chocolate happens to be my all time favorite. I can have it in any weather and it is always so soothing. Here too, the hot chocolate was fantastic.

Chicken Thousand Island – We tried the chicken thousand island which was a chicken based sandwich with veggies. It is very light sandwich and goes perfectly well with the coffee. This is more on the sweeter side and hence if you need anything spicy, I definitely recommend you to discuss with the staff prior to ordering.

Garlic chilli cheese toast – The best snack of the afternoon. Yes, this is spicy and is tasty. You really are in for a treat if you love cheese and a bit of spice.

Blueberry Cheesecake – I have tried a lot of cheesecakes all over Bombay and this was not the best of them. What I did like is that they make all of their food and desserts in house. Nothing is outsourced. Hence the taste would not be the conventional one which you try everywhere. This is their own effort and kudos to them for that.

Chocolate Chip Truffle – As mentioned above, the taste here is not of the conventional types. Yes, the dessert will not taste so sweet as it is expected to be. But their taste is very original and I liked their desserts.

The balance of spicy and sweet was spot on, and the coffee was smooth and robust. The Iced Mocha, on the other hand, was a refreshing treat, perfect for those who prefer their coffee cold.☕️

For non-coffee drinkers, The Big Mug doesn’t disappoint. The Muskmelon Ice Tea is a standout, offering a unique and refreshing twist to the usual iced tea. It was a delightful blend of sweet and tangy, making it a perfect thirst quencher.🥤

Moving on to the food, the Chicken Junglee Sub in multi-grain bread was a delightful surprise. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the multi-grain bread added a nice, healthy touch to the meal. The sub was hearty and satisfying, making it an ideal companion to the coffee.🥪

And for dessert, the Choco Walnut Brownie was simply divine. It was rich, fudgy, and loaded with walnuts, making every bite a delightful experience. It’s a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.🍰

The Big Mug! A small cosy cafe to have your coffee and conversation with your loved ones. Cute Decors, Pretty lights, Music and Aroma of coffee gonna set your mood on. Ambiance is quite comfortable & relaxing.

They got wide range of espresso, frappuchinos, hot chocolates, shakes followed by quick snacks and droolworthy desserts.

•Mexican Mocha Rich & Creamy coffee with edible glitter. Looks way too fancy & pretty. If you want to explore and experiment with your coffee you surely gotta try this up. With flavour of Mexican spices this coffee stands out. Loved it! Perfect place of sweetness. This is their best selling coffee. Highly recommend!

•The Big Mug Classic Do you love frappuchinos ? Then you gonna love this one. Perfect balance of sweetness.

•Paneer in Barbeque sauce We tried this veg sub. Tender paneer tossed in BBQ sauce. Loved the sub. Perfect flavors!

•Garlic bread with cheese Cheesy! Garlic bread topped with generous amount of droolworthy cheese, chilli flakes and mixed herbs. This gonna be my star dish of the day! 🌟

Wanna try some desserts ?

•Chocochip Truffle Loved it! Perfectly layered with blanced sweetness. Chocochips adds on to the taste. This is Sinfully sweet! Loved it!

•Blueberry Cheesecake One of the best cheesecake I ever tried. Perfect balance of sweetness. Topped with blueberry filling simply gonna tempt you to relish it.

Staff and Service : Service is quick. Staff is helpful and surely ask them for suggestions. They really recommend you some droolworthy stuff. Kudos! 💕
