I visited The Desert Lounge on 25th November with my friends.
It is a nice place to spend time with friends. The Ambience of the lounge is also good.
The quality and quantity of food isn't worth the price. Also, service is too slow.
The most irritating part and the reason why I would not recommend others to go to this place are:-
We ordered 2 water bottles of 1ltr, ₹20 water bottle was priced as ₹60 in the menu but when we got the bill, they charged us ₹50 on the 1st bottle and ₹100 on the 2nd bottle.
We ordered soft dring which was priced as ₹100 in menu, on ask staff said it will be 700ml thumsup but they served 500ml and charged ₹150.
When we asked staff why such rates they said it varies depending on time we can't help. Whereas, it is no where mentioned in menu or lounge premises.
What if someone orders seeing the Menu based on their budget and later this people bills him more than what is mentioned in menu? Not fair to do that at least they should mention in Menu or some where in Premises. I have uploaded the bill copy for reference.
Desert lounge is located on 4th floor of The Mall Malad (w). The only way to get on 4th floor is the haunted lift. Lol. (Not haunted - just kidding). But the lift is not mainteded properly due to which there was some lift opening and closing issues. We were scared if we get stuck we have our female friends with us, who might get panic.
Parking not available. You have to pay extra to the Mall for parking The desert lounge doesn't have their own parking space nor can you park out somewhere as it is near Malad station and in a crowded place.
Food was tasteless specially Chicken Koliwada and price isn't worth the quality and quantity.
Conclusion :- I will never visit here again nor I would recommend others specially for...

Read moreBeen here last night for dinner as this was newly opened place in Malad. Cited at just walkable distance of 2-3 mins from the station on the fourth floor of The Mall this place is absolutely delight for people who love pure veg middle eastern food. Talking about the ambience it's simply stunning! Dubai themed decor and luxurious seating arrangements with few private dining arena is spectacular. Coming to the f&b in drinks we had Watermelon shake and blue lagoon. Both the Mocktails were super refreshing and had good taste to it. For the appetizers we had hummus with pita. They had absolutely nailed it I would say! Perfect consistency and great taste of the hummus went just amazing with the pita bread served along. Also tried classic paneer tikka which had superb presentation as it was given live charcoal smoke. The paneer was soft and the marinade was perfectly coated to it resulting to that balanced taste overall. For the main course we ordered for Indiana pizza which was basically paneer makhani pizza. The base had complete layering of makhani sauce and the paneer quantity was also quiet generous. Last up we had Manchurian rice bowl which was veg fried rice served with Manchurian gravy , this is something you should definitely opt for if you are someone into asian delicacies. For the dessert we had vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce which was presented very nicely. The hospitality here is great! Captain Anil took good care of us and recommended some amazing...
