Natraj Market near Malad Station is best described as a vibrant mix of chaos and valueâa true Mumbai shopping experience with both highs and minor downsides.
"Natraj Market is a famous, buzzing hub right next to Malad railway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to. It's a goldmine for affordable Indian and festive wear, particularly for ladies. You can find a fantastic mix of sarees, lehengas, kurtis, and matching artificial jewelry at prices that often beat what you'd find in a mall. It is truly a shopper's paradise for value and variety, and if you enjoy the thrill of bargaining, you'll have a great time and secure some amazing deals.
The trade-off for these great prices and extensive choices, however, is the atmosphere. The market is almost always heavily crowded, especially during evenings and on weekends, which can make navigating the narrow lanes a bit challenging. The area immediately outside the station can be quite packed with vendors and general foot traffic, and parking is notoriously difficult.

Read moreCrazy busy market - a little difficult to navigate. Recommend taking a local guide, we got dropped off by taxi and missed a lot because it was just too full on for us. We did find an amazing shop with menâs clothes we bought from this place - will find receipt and add name of shop I have been here and visited this place more than 20-25 times. But this place is full of hustle and bustle with crowds. This natraj market has a variety of clothes , imitation jewellery etc. for girls precisely. For boys we can say less variety of clothes are present here (bandra linking road can be a better option for them). Bargaining is possible here. Vicinity to this place we have MM snacks outside Malad station west, kasturba threate etc. which is now renovated. It is present on the sv road itself. Do visit and give a response to it. It's a maze of stores selling clothes, utensils and artificial jewellery. You can get practically anything under the sun. Value for money goods at extremely affordable prices. Enjoy window shopping and buying. Love it. Brace yourself...
