Corridor Seven Coffee Roastery/Standing Room — Restaurant in Nagpur

We visit here quite often, had come recently with a group of 9 for a late lunch. Great coffee and food and the ambience was lit as usual. One of the only peeves this time was that the service was pretty slow, also we had ordered a #Cilbir and this bit of an episode unfolded.

It was taking forever and after an hour and asking the server 3-4 times we had to cancel it as we were pretty late heading out.

The server said that there was some issue with the eggs, however when I had asked before they said it was just being plated.

So we cancelled it, due to it taking such a long time and no clear follow up/communication from the server and went ahead to pay the bill.

After paying the bill we had the unpleasant experience of discovering that we were billed for the #Cilbir as well which we had cancelled and didn't receive. Essentially, we ended up paying for an item we didn't get.

So this wasn't a great experience. Apart from that, the food and coffee were top notch as usual. I just hope that the management takes this experience into account and that it won't recur in the future, as this still is one of my favourite spots in town.

They should let their customers know if some items aren't available or can't be made rather than stalling for so long and billing them...
