We visited Hitchki on a Saturday night with high hopes, having made a reservation well in advance through Eazydiner. However, our experience was far from pleasant. Initial Impressions: From the start, the service was disappointing. The bouncer at the entrance was rude and unwelcoming. Once inside, we were left unattended and had to approach the counter to inquire about our table. We were informed that our Eazydiner reservation was only for the indoor seating, a detail not mentioned on the app. A Series of Disappointments: Our requests were met with indifference. We were initially seated at an uncomfortable high table and then, after requesting a change, were told that the terrace, which was our preferred seating, would only be available after 9 PM due to a private party. When our food arrived, we were surprised to find a portion of peanut masala included in our non-veg platter, a detail not mentioned by the waiter. The food itself was mediocre, with the exception of a few dishes. As the night progressed, we noticed other tables being moved to the terrace. Upon inquiring, we were told that the terrace required a hefty cover charge of ₹2000 per person. This was a shocking revelation, especially considering we had already spent a significant amount on food and drinks. A Lack of Respect: It became clear that the restaurant staff was more interested in maximizing their profits than providing a positive customer experience. We felt disrespected and undervalued as customers. When we spoke to the manager, he admitted that the cover charge was used to filter the crowd. This was a blatant insult, as we were dressed appropriately and behaved respectfully. A Tarnished Reputation: Hitchki's reputation as a high-end restaurant is undeserved. The exorbitant prices, subpar food, and appalling service do not justify the cost. We strongly advise against visiting Hitchki unless you are prepared to be treated with disdain and charged...
Read moreI visited this restro today 28-09-24 with my wife. I have already booked my time slot through Zomato. 1st good thing is that food was tasty. Dosa poppers was good. Mini kulcha was not up to d mark. Moong bharo sajna was tasty and chicken dish was juicy. So overall food was good. Now most important thing which I have already told by my friend earlier now I experienced also. When l reached restro with my wife I was told that I have to take high chairs only not normal table as table is for 4 people and all d tables were reserved. I told them that I also have reservation and my wife is not comfortable in sitting on high chairs, but we are clearly told that there was no other option. The high tables/chairs are also have capacity of four like normal table but for 2 persons that was only d option. So if u r going only with yr wife or with somebody else, don't expect relaxed chairs. If u r going with some old person get ready for embarrassment. Actually Hitchki is not for class people. They don't know how to treat class people. So if you want some good sitting go with 4 people atleast . If you and your wife is going then first adopt 2 child then go there. I am not saying this as I am angry actually I am embarrassed. Hitchki is only for college going buddies coz they usually have 4-5 friends. Not for those people who wants to go with his/her wife / husband/father/mother/sister/brother .
Actually some restorent like Hitchki tries to be like 5 star hotels and behaves ike them also but when it comes to execution, they fails at every point. So if you want some quality time with your family and especially if you are only 2 people my suggestion is big NO. Recently I visited MOKSH restorent. That was much better option than Hitchki. For hitchki, my suggestion is that don't force people to sit on high chairs because we have other options also. Many restorent get closed due to this type of...
