Heart Rock — Restaurant in Nainital

I visited Heart Rock restaurant with my friends on a chilly evening and we were delighted by the warm and cozy ambiance of the place. The restaurant is located in the Tibetan market, near the famous Nainital Lake. We ordered thukpa, momos, lassi and mojito from their menu and we were not disappointed by the taste and quality of the food. The thukpa was spicy and hearty, the momos were juicy and flavorful, the lassi was thick and creamy, and the mojito was refreshing and minty. The service was quick and courteous, and the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. We enjoyed our meal while listening to some soothing music and admiring the lake view from the window. Heart Rock is a great place to have a satisfying meal in Nainital, especially if you like north Indian or Tibetan cuisine. Heart Rock really touched the heart❤️ We tried chineese there and it turned out to be delicious. We tried Dry Manchurian, Noodles and thupka (All veg). Totally different taste but it feels like the perfect mixture of spices in noodles and Manchurian.

Thupka(local dish) was something new for us....it was kind of veggie noodles rice with some soup. The taste was quite good.

Quantity was also good. 6 people were able to eat in 3 dishes (full plate)

This place was too crowded at evening time.you might have to wait for 10-15 min to find a seat.

Cleanliness and hygiene was maintained properly. Serving was also very less just 10-15 min.

Sitting is also comfortable and all kind of payments are accepted

Low quality stuff at high prices. They are thriving on location only.

Ordered 3 shakes, dosa, veg steam momo. we got very poorly made shakes in ultra slim glasses, each having about 130 ml of shakes, costing Rs 130+ per glass.

The dosa was soggy, sambhar was cold & services were even colder.

Same with steam momos, cold. They changed after complaint. The taste & portion size was again disappointing.

After this experience, we decided to get our balance meal from other vendors. Not worth the visit. They are trying to sell everything (all kinds of food) so the preparation are poor across the menu.

Next shop Chinatown has better...
