Visited for dinner 14th April 2019. My verdict. You cannot get authentic food in a multi cusine restaurant. Grace serves Malayalee, Tamil Nadu, Punjabi and Chinese cusines in a single kitchen. You gotta be kidding me!!!Kerala Vegetable khorma was a sweet makhanwala gravy. Kerala mix veg curry was vegetable kadai/ veg jalfrezi. Chicken Malabar was chicken makhanwala with lots of pepper, Curry leaves and coconut oil. Payasam had been forgotten to be stirred while reheating and got burnt at the bottom. So it had a burnt taste with black flakes floating around. Chicken texture was brilliant, soft and juicy. Paratha was good. For authenticity I give a big ZERO. Staff management, skillset, and courteous behaviour needs serious attention/changes. Overall experience- Will not visit again nor will recommend. Please stop calling it an authentic restaurant. It's best labelled as a commercial, customer and region evolved restaurant.

Awesome food, Good taste, 200% Value for money. I tried kerala parotta with paneer kadhai. They given ample amount of paneer kadhai for 2 peoples. Price is standard mumbai range.. Paneer kadhai-180rs. Parotta-15rs. But I went there after my shift wearing my swiggy delivery boy tshirt and with delivery bag. When enter the hotel and kept my bag near table and went to wash my hands during this whole time Their reaction is so terrible . Even after I sat on chair he didn't think i came to eat here. He is on great confusion. Then I asked for menu card he realised oh swiggy people also having stomach they also come here to eat. Overall staff experience was not great. But it's not their fault. Because everyone seeing delivery boy as some nameless creature.so no use of blaming them.

Last Sunday myself and my friend went to have lunch. He ordered porotta and pothirachi rost. Myself ordered for normal Oonu (Kerala veg thali) . They converted oonu with " special sadhya". All I would like to tell those who plan to go to Grace Restaurant is, please don't expect the taste. All though they give no importance to serve the tasty food as we expect since it is a keralite restaurant, they charge you four star rates. 275 Rs for a veg kerala sadhya was not served as GRACE as they named their restaurant. Also guys please don't expect the parotta to be as soft and fresh made after order, it was sticky and rubbery. Pothirachi was not as we had earlier for some reason. Very very disappointed.

This all started with my wish for having good kerala food and may family suggested Grace restaurant in nerul. So on a saturday afternoon we undertook a journey of aroumd 45 mins to 1 hour( due to our driver who took a longer route...phew). We reached at 2pm and in all my excitement ordered the following

Beef cutlet 2.Beef roast 3.Beef mapas 4.Kerala porotta Papad 6.Puttu 7.Payasam

Parcel Mathi fry Pazahpori -4 Ada-4 Cutlet-

The order came in fast and couldnt contain my excitement to eat it but the moment i took the first bite realised that the travel the made was not worth one bit. The cutlets were microwaved and hence soggy n tasteless. The beef mapas was no where close to a mapas and looked more like a north indian version. The roast was decent but was inconsistent with quality. Some were hard as rubber n others soft .The papad wasnt fried properly and had brown touches to it( signifies oil temp wasnt right and the chef burnt it) . The porotta waa the star and absolutely delicious. It was soft n crispy n bought a relief to us. The payasam was cold and utterly disgusting. Keralite food is delicious when made with care but lack of quality n taste meant that this place isnt worth it for good keralite food . how do i know all this- i am a keralite myself and have tasted better dishes of these . The restaurant is value for money but if you are hoping tasty kerala food then its not worth it at all.such waste of time. If they continue serving such quality they would have to give a new name to the...

Had gone for Sadya '18 on a saturday. It's a small typical malyaali place with hardly any ambiance, which is not a negative point btw. The place was already packed with a waiting line. A pandal with 5 small round tables and chairs were placed just outside the hotel for the waiting crowd. We were asked to take coupons worth INR 300 for the sadya and wait. We also had the choice to eat in the pandal, i.e, outside the hotel, which many people accepted. So the setting was that the hotel was filled with customers batchwise and all were served sadya together. After one batch completes their meal, they clean the tables quickly and serves the next batch of customers. Waiting time varied from 20mins to half an hr. We had heard a lot of good reviews about the place and we were warned about the crowd hence we didn't mind waiting. Since we were 2 people, we were asked to sit together, side by side and not opposite to each other. The tables were already cleaned up before we sat on the table. Once the banana leaves were placed in front of us, all the dishes were placed one by one. Damn tasty food and very quick polite service. We were so excited that we went for a second serving. We had also ordered a side dish, i.e, surmai pollichattu. Had better pollichattu in royal rasoi, seawoods. But obviously there would be a difference in the quality, taste and price. The pollichattu wasn't bad either. Would have loved it if hadn't tasted the one in royal rasoi. Overall the experience was very good. Will definitely visit again to taste...
