The shop has a little history to it...!! The family was the owner of the traditional Ujala Dairy (the old one) which they sold off... Before the sell off Ujala Dairy was the place of choice... Excellent tea and very much road side experience of everything possible - samosas, sweets, uttapam, misal etc... However after the change of hands Ujala Dairy (the old one) lost its appeal both in terms of human touch and also taste...!!
With the opening of New Ujala Sweet Mart (the new shop), the Yadav family is back in business... The taste is back and so is the touch and feel of the place...!!! The place is worth a visit for anyone eager to have a street side experience of Samosa and a good tea...!! Uttapam is still to make its way into the menu but it may soon become a reality...!!
