Best experience that I have ever had. Pls read till the end. I would strongly recommend Indian Thali House to everyone, especially to those dining out with children and/or elders. The variety offered is excellent and the food is delicious. The oil, salt and spice levels are just perfect; as if made at home. The ambience is also warm, friendly and inviting. The pricing is very affordable and offers great value for money. Staff members are polite, helpful in giving suggestions and above all..... VERY HONEST! I wish to share a wonderful experience at this restaurant; It so happened that unknown to me, my precious bracelet had slipped out of my wrist and fallen on the floor. After going home (which is 30 kms away!) I realised that it was missing. I searched everywhere at home, downstairs in my building compound, and in my car but it was not to be found anywhere. Feeling very upset and dejected, I decided to call the restaurant to ask if anyone found it there, by any chance. The owner came online and said that they did indeed find "something" but to make sure, she asked me to describe it and send a picture if I had one. Luckily, I did have a picture which I sent promptly. She assured me that my bracelet was safe with her and I could come and collect it at my convenience. Her staff member Dinesh Kumar-ji had found it on the floor and handed it over to her. We live Mumbai and this restaurant is in Belapur. Some hours had passed since our lunch there. When my husband went to ITH-Belapur again to collect it, he wished to reward Dinesh Kumar, but the latter refused the money initially. My husband had to insist and request that he kindly accept it as a token of our gratitude and appreciation of his honesty. God is great! We pray for Dinesh Kumar's happiness and prosperity and also for the prosperity of Indian Thali House, Sector 11, Belapur. May their tribe increase....

Sadly, even her heroic efforts couldn't save us from the impending doom of a two-and-a-half-hour wait for food fight.

When the food did finally arrive (and to be fair, it was quite good), we figured the worst was behind us. Little did we know, the real challenge was yet to come - paying the bill. What followed was another hour of negotiation, verification, and sheer disbelief. A corporate discount? Nonexistent. Zomato Gold? Oh, they had that… but only in name. After refusing to accept the Zomato Gold payment and a 20-minute debate with Zomato's contact center, the owner finally decided to offer a 10% discount—which, hilariously, is the exact same discount Zomato Gold would have provided but not allowed to pay through Zomato Gold.
