Hola! Bienvenido al mundo de la auténtica comida mexicana. Mexican cuisine is all about flavours. Be it spicy salsa or crunchy nachos, enchiladas or burritos, tacos or tex-mex spiced potatoes. You just can't stop having them. Every single preparation is unique in it's own way. My love for Salsa is never ending. It is a great blend of fresh finely chopped tomatoes,. jalapenos, cilantro, lemon, salt and chillies. The flavorful Mexican dip is ready to savor. The moment you enter this place, you can spot those colorful paintings and fancy wall decor. It will remind you of being in Mexico. To make it a memorable experience, the staff gave us a traditional Mexican hat. We captured some really good pictures and it added to the overall dinging experience. The music was electrifying and I kinda loved it completely. The staff greeted us with a smile and we were headed to a comfortable seating space. Here is what I Had:
✨Appetizers✨
Chacho Nachos - One cannot resist this munchie. Crispy Tortilla chips are placed on a bed of delicious blend of black pinto beans, olives, jalapenos and fresh tomatoes. It is further topped with spicy salsa and creamy cheese sauce. The quantity was humongous and good enough for three. It was all loaded with the toppings and beans. What I loved the most was the perfect balance of different flavours from different ingredients. Spicy enough to tickle your taste buds. This tex-mex dish from northern Mexico is one of the most flavoursome appetizer. Trending even more as it holds a right combination of fresh ingredients. They also provide three different sauces. One was sour cream dip which was absolutely thick and creamy, other was spicy-sweet mango sauce, while the third one was high on spice. You can savor nachos with these dips and sauces. Highly Highly Recommended 🤘🏻
Lebanese Market - Lebanon flavours, straight to you at Sammy Sosa. The classic hummus is paired with fresh and soft Pita Bread and Lavash. You can try this with different veg and nonveg add-ons. I tried the veg one which had pickled olives and Moutabel. The prominent flavour of smoked eggplant ruled all over this dip. It was thick and had tahini as the second most important ingredient. The pickled olives were sour and spicy. The hummus was topped with olive oil and had the perfect consistency. Thick enough to savor it as a dip. Lavash was crunchy and bit sweet. On the other hand the pita bread looked bit fire glazed. Surely a healthy indulgence that is loaded with tantalizing flavours. A good option to try.
✨Mains✨
Peri Peri Please - A delectable Mexican delicacy which was absolutely well done. Exotic veggies like zucchini, bell peppers, mushrooms and so are cooked in a creamy rich gravy. Spiced with peri peri spice, it adds that spicy twist to the base gravy. Served along with herb rice, the combination is worth remembering for long. The rice is moderately spiced and was of premium quality. That long grain rice when consumed with peri peri gravy creates a magical taste together. Need no further accompaniments. Have it hot and you will enjoy having it. Highly Recommended 🤘🏻
✨Dessert✨
Chocolate Mud-Pie - A sweet sin indeed! Fresh walnut brownie is cut into small pieces and topped with chocolate sauce. They are then put into a microwave till the chocolate sauce melts all over. It is then topped with a huge scoop of vanilla Icecream. This combination is divine and one of the all time favourite. The brownie is loaded with walnuts and adds that much required texture to the brownie. It was soft and equally nutty. With every bite you take, it oozes that dark chocolate. Loved with hot and cold mix together. Highly Recommended 🤘🏻
Overall, I had an amazing experience. Felt like being in Mexico and having the Mexican delicacies in an authentic restaurant. Be it ambience to food, it impressed me to the core. Surely visiting again as I found it absolute value for money....

Read moreSammy Sosa located in sec-15, CBD Belapur is famous for its Mexican cuisine, and recently they have started with Asian cuisine as well and which has some fantastic lip-smacking dishes. The items we ordered: STARTERS: Mini Chacho Nacho – fried tortilla chips along with refried black beans with cheese sauce, veggies, guacamole along with salsa & sour cream on the side was served. The taste was usual, and the portion served was sufficient. Nacho lovers can go for it.
Satay Paneer With Peanut Sauce – paneer/cottage cheese coated in batter and fried is then sautéed in peanut sauce was succulent & appetizing. The one main thing in this dish is the flavour of peanuts which is mild but quite prominent. I was sceptical about this one but the blend of the sauce with other ingredients just felt right to me. What an amazing taste…… Must try dish!
DRINKS: Kit-Kat Shake – thick shake served with a scope of vanilla ice cream on top is heaven for a sweet tooth. It tasted more vanilla rather than chocolate along with KitKat which was a little off for me. I think a little more of a chocolatey taste would be just right. Virgin Pina Colada – a drink with coconut milk and pineapple which is more on the sweeter side was my favourite. It has a thick texture and every sip gives you a perfectly smooth taste of pineapple and coconut milk. MAIN COURSE: Burmese Khousuey Bowl Veg – A gravy/curry with a coconut milk base with some veggies & thin rice noodles had condiments like peanuts, fried garlic & onion, and chilli flakes was a wholesome bowl. The gravy/curry has a smooth rich texture and taste of coconut milk. The dish's elements can be served together or separately as per your choice. The portion served is sufficient for 2….TBH you can be done by just ordering this one dish. People who love coconut milk gravy/curry would really like this. DESSERT: Chocolate Mud Pie - Crumbled warm chocolate brownie topped with cold vanilla ice cream & chocolate sauce was mouth melting. It had a perfect balance of sweetness.
