It was one of those times where my planning went for a toss.
My flight landed at one in the morning and I had scheduled my bus to Rishikesh for twelve in the afternoon. I had almost 12hrs to spend, while I was searching for some options I came across this cafe which’s located right outside terminal 1. So decided to spend some time here.
When it comes to coffee, I have only ever had one concern, it shouldn’t taste bitter. I like my coffee sweet.
When I asked for a suggestion to one of the staff, he suggested me an espresso with melted chocolate and milk poured over ice. I added an almond cookie from vegetarian section too.
The cafe’s huge enough to host around 20 people at a time. I wanted a table with a socket connections. So I occupied one with a the sofa.
My order was served in no time. As expected it was sweet, tasty and cold which was perfect for this weather. The almond cookie which they claim to be baked from scratch did taste really great.
The staff is kind and helpful.
Cutting down 1.5 stars for 3 reasons Among 4 charging sockets only one functions properly There are some house flys flying around Couches n floors looked greasy There’s always room for improvements, hope to see these fixes in Otherwise it’s a great place to spend some lone time or...

I had the misfortune of picking up a Tomato Pesto Feta Croissant from the Blue Tokai Café at Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal, and it was one of the worst food decisions I’ve ever made. The croissant tasted stale—as though it had been sitting out far beyond what is acceptable for any food item, let alone one with cheese and pesto. Not long after eating it, I began experiencing severe diarrhoea, ruining what should have been a routine travel day.
For a brand that prides itself on quality and freshness, this was an utter letdown—and frankly, a potential public health hazard. Selling old or improperly stored food at a high-traffic international terminal is not only irresponsible, it’s dangerous. I expected far better from Blue Tokai, but instead, I’m left questioning your food safety standards.
Travelers: steer clear unless you want your journey to come with a side of food poisoning. I sincerely hope the management takes this seriously and reviews their food handling and quality...
