Third Wave Coffee — Restaurant in New Delhi

What an anti climax it was to purchase a so-called Blueberry Muffin with my coffee, today at the Third Wave Coffee outlet at T-1 Airport at New Delhi. The muffin size was impressive so I got it packed and took it to my gate where my husband was waiting for me. We decided to share the muffin, and my husband was the one to take the first bite. His reaction was spontaneous and he literally ordered me not to taste it. Not convinced, I still went ahead and took a bite and to my utter disappointment, the muffin was nothing but a baked ball of tasteless maida !! Never in my previous experience with muffins have I tasted something so bad! The sugar sprinkled from the top was a trap for the customer, only to hide a terrible bakery product. Please, Third Wave management, look into what's happening in your bakery. Either you don't care, or you are not aware of the rubbish being sold in the name of a muffin. It was a waste of money and in an Airport situation, where one has to walk quite a bit to reach from one place to another, this muffin will be remembered for it's disappointing taste! As a Third Wave loyal customer, this is the worst outlet of TW l have experienced. They have put Vietnamese Shakeratoo in their menu but the last 4 times l asked, it was out of stock or not available. In that case they should remove it altogether from menu. When l ordered Iced Latte, they gave the same in a hot coffee cup (This is so weird, if you are having an iced drink). I had told them to add sugar which they didn’t and when l told them to put sugar syrup they said they don’t have any and to use sugar sachets (how will it get mixed with a cold beverage, something which is basic for all coffee shops). Paying 350-400 for coffee here is not worth it, at all.

What generally stands out about TW is their service, which this outlet...

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with the black coffee I purchased at Terminal 1 of IGI Airport today outlet Third Wave Coffee. The coffee was completely tasteless and had an unpleasant smell, almost like it was stale or spoiled — reminiscent of bugs, which was extremely off-putting.

When I shared my feedback with the staff, the salesperson responded by saying, "Maybe the coffee is about to run out or is already finished." Initially, he offered to give me another cup, but then changed his mind and offered a refund instead. I declined both.

Based on this experience, I strongly advise against buying black coffee from this outlet. If there were an option to give a negative rating, I certainly would. Totally...
