Elaichi Tea - Rs. 50, Ginger Tea - Rs. 70 Self Service No Paper Menus ( No they are not eco friendly, they serve in plastic cups) You have to pay before you get the food. In case you make mistake in online payment and pay extra, they will not refund but force you to either order more or take a coupon. This is not only unethical, it's illegal. Horrible attitude of both owner and cashier. Below average expensive food.
I used to visit this place when it newly opened almost twice a week for coffee and burger and it was really good.
Went there 3 months back and they served stale chat, we have it back and the cashier said it's smells normal. No refund and no apology.
Today I made 2 mistakes, first go back to this place even after one bad experience and second made online payment twice for their over expensive ginger tea(2x70). I added one more item and asked to return the extra Rs 60. The cashier said they can't as it's a business account and they pay GST. I said give me the GST deducted amount. Then the owner also chipped in saying he has a poster saying they can't return online transaction. How is this ethical? We asked to cancel the order as I don't trust quality after the argument and they said they won't. So they blatantly robbed us of Rs. 280 without even printing the bill.
It's not about just the money but the right of choice that they denied. I know the owner will try to defend his side and he is very welcome to do so because thankfully Google doesn't take away the right of choice...
Read moreMy friend has been vegetarian his whole life, and this experience at Grub on the Run was incredibly disappointing. They advertise having a vegan menu and good customer service, but they failed miserably on both fronts.
He ordered a paneer roll, yet they served me a chicken roll instead. When I brought this up with the manager, he turned to the cook and asked, "Maine paneer roll bola tha na, aapne kya banaya?" The staff replied, "Did you not say chicken roll?" To make matters worse, they had the audacity to ask me, "Aap nonveg nahi khate ho kya?"
This didn't feel like an honest mistake—it seemed more like repeated carelessness or indifference. A friend of ours had a similar experience here a few years ago, which clearly shows that they haven’t learned anything. To them, the customer is just a transaction, not someone they care to respect or serve properly.
I urge everyone to rate them one star. Let’s make it clear that such behavior and negligence won’t be tolerated. If they can’t respect dietary preferences or offer basic courtesy, they don’t deserve the goodwill...
Read moreThe ambience and the service is great in particular. Its cafe like setting attracts a lot of people who wish to hangout. It is a themed restaurant and they have skilfully decorated the place in a very small area. Waiting time can be a dissatisfaction. However the best dish of this place is the brownie sizzler and one must definitely try it out. One thing to note is that this place offers self service facility. I had ordered the following dishes during my recent visit :- Garlic fried Rice and chilli paneer Chicken biriyani and chilli chicken Shikanji Brownie sizzler
Brownie sizzler is a must try!!!!!
All the above dishes were delicious except for chilli chicken which had a rather burnt or smoky taste and i didn't quite enjoyed it. Overall a must visit place...
