Cafe Chokolade — Restaurant in Panvel

I frequently visited this location in the past, and while the service was good, it has now gotten worse. I had two negative experiences here. Once, since there weren't many people, they didn't turn on the air conditioning. My second order of a Kikat shake tasted strange and contained hair. I asked for a replacement, but instead he simply bought me the same drink, which tasted just as horrible. I told him again that I didn't like it, and he said he will cancel the order. He returned after a while and asked whether I should pack it, which I refused. Then, ironically enough, he began making accusations that I had just ordered something that I didn't want. And he was trying to sell that beverage to other people in the cafe by inquiring as to whether anyone had ordered a KitKat shake, which is disgusting because they serve dirty and...

Cafe Chokolade is one of the oldest cafe in Panvel. We've been here many times as they serve decent CadB's . It's mainly famous for their CadB.

We tried lot's of other stuff here like Waffles, Cold Coffee, Hot Chocolate.

We recently had Waffles, it was Rich Vanilla Waffles. We took this because it's the only waffle we get ice-cream with(other waffles did not come with ice-cream).It was not so good in taste. The waffles were dry. We had those with Vanilla Ice-cream which came with it still it didn't taste that good. It should be served with some sauce or something.

We also had CadB's, their famous dish.Personally we didn't like it because it is too much sweet.If you are a sweet tooth you can go for it.

Calling it TERRIBLE is an understatement! Overpriced & bad bad food & service.

No service - we had to stand at the counter for 15mins till we were attended to.

Horrible food - Chicken Garlic Fingers - these are ready made. Frozen food that is just simply fried. No dips, just a ketchup sachet provided with it. Cheesy French Fries - Again, frozen McCain fries that were not even thawed, just deep fried. Tasted stale and soft. God knows where the cheese was, it tasted like Mayo spread on the top of them. White Chocolad - YIKES! DO NOT TRY. Left an oily feel after 1 sip.

Bottom line - NOT...
