Kharghar Golf Course Pavithra Cafe — Restaurant in Panvel

We had a totally different experience then what others had. Before going we didn't even check the review or rating which we usually do. First we thought to have just tea and evening snacks but it was little late for that so we had full dinner. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. Issue started after ordering the food. As per there menu it will take around 25 min for food to come out, for us it took good 1 hour. People who came after us and ordered after us were served and finished there food. One table which placed there order at the same time as us has even paid the bill and left and we were still waiting for our food. We asked there manager what is the issue he said he will check and come but he never returned. The food was all cold, we asked for crispy chapati and as it came soo late it was all soft and cold. We didn't dare to ask for a replacement as God knows how much time they will take to being the chapati again. The guy who took the order we asked him 2-3 times and everytime he said sir 5 min. He was like least bothered about we getting our food. This didn't Stop here, we asked for finger bowl and waited again for atleast 10 min and in mean time asked for bill and none came. Finally we went to the counter and the lady who said is the owner of the place didn't look much concerned about all this. When we ordered the food we were discussing to come there for b/f a day after as the view is really nice but ... The food is also average one cannot compromise on service for an average tasting food. We are not going to recommend this...

Updated Review Pavithra, kudos for giving a new feel to the restaurant. No more glass or paper cups. New chairs and more professional staff. Updating my rating from 1 to 4. Consistency in good quality service matters a lot. So before giving a 5, I would like to wait for few more months to validate on consistency part. Again, thanks for plug-in the gaps.

Old Review below The waiters kept me and my little daughter waiting for more then 20 odd mins because they were busy in making some arrangements. People visit here only for the open ambience otherwise the hospitality is very poor. All the waiters are in their own mood including the floor manager. I came with my daughter to spend some quality time but I was given a corner filthy space with water on the floor. I had to specially tell them to make them realize that it is odd. The basic hospitality is ZERO.

Also, I noticed one thing during my second visit that the staff does not gives you tea or coffee in a good cup. Either they give it in a paper cup or in a glass which usually we see at tea vendors place. I have to always tell them to give it in a traditional decent cup.
