Read moreNeel Kamal Family Restaurant and Bar in Panvel is a fine-dining destination that’s perfect for family meals or special occasions. I’ve visited this place multiple times, and it consistently provides a great dining experience. The staff is exceptionally polite, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
The restaurant specializes in North Indian cuisine, and some of the must-try dishes include the Murg Musallam, Mutton Bhuna, Rajasthani Murgh Tikka, and Chicken Tikka all of which are packed with rich flavors. If you're in the mood for Chinese, their Chinese items are also well-prepared and flavorful, offering a great variety to choose from.
While I don’t drink, it's worth mentioning that they offer a great selection of cocktails and liquor, making it a perfect place for those who enjoy pairing drinks with their meals.
The ambiance is one of the highlights of Neel Kamal. The setting is elegant and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere that’s perfect for both family dinners and gatherings. The restaurant has a spacious feel and is well-maintained, adding to the overall dining experience.
The service is generally quick and efficient, though it can get busier during peak hours. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but the quality of food, ambiance, and service make it worth the visit.
Overall, Neel Kamal Family Restaurant and Bar is a great place to enjoy flavorful North Indian cuisine in a fine-dining atmosphere. With delicious food, a great ambiance, and excellent service, it’s definitely worth...
Read moreI hate to be the one writing a scathing review, but honestly, my experience at Neel Kamal was downright terrible. I feel like you guys need to know exactly what's going on from a customer's perspective.
First up, the whole attitude at your place comes off as "our way or the highway," which is really off-putting. I get that restaurants have their own style, but come on, blowing off customer complaints with a "that's how we do it here, deal with it" is just rude.
Take for example the whole debacle with the onions in the Paneer Chili. When the onion's price goes up, you just pull them out without a heads-up or anything. That's not cool. And the difference in the paneer? It's like a paneer lottery – dine-in and it's soft, takeout and it's like chewing on a hockey puck.
And don't even get me started on the Dal Khichdi disaster. I made it clear it was for someone who's sick, and you guys still go and load it with tadka. It was nothing like the one we ordered before. It was so bland, I couldn't even eat it.
I'm not one to throw shade without good reason, but seriously, this place doesn't care about customers at all. It's like the owner thinks he's the 'King of Foodland' who can do whatever and people will just put up with it. It's just a bad way to do business.
Honestly, I'm telling everyone I know to steer clear of Neel Kamal. It's just not worth the hassle and disappointment. If things don't shape up fast, I can't see how you'll keep any...
