I recently dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. We had booked a table for two for 10 PM, but upon arrival, the staff seemed unaware of our reservation. Although they managed to arrange a table for us quickly, the evening didn’t go smoothly from there.
After placing our order within 5-7 minutes of arriving, we had to wait over an hour just for our starter to be served. To our disappointment, the main course was brought out at the same time as the starter, which was not ideal. We had also ordered biryani, but due to the excessive wait time, we had to cancel it. When the food did arrive, the chicken was slightly undercooked, which was very concerning.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. While the staff were polite, they should have informed us upfront if there was going to be such a long wait time, especially considering the restaurant was about 25% empty when we entered.
Overall, the ambiance is nice, and the staff is courteous, but the service, food quality, and cleanliness need major improvements. I hope the management addresses these issues to provide a better dining experience...
Read moreThe Nawabs in Navi Mumbai promises royal Mughlai and North Indian food, but my visit was more “average dinner” than “royal feast.” The menu looks tempting—biryani, kebabs, rich curries—but the taste didn’t completely match the hype. The chicken tikka was nicely grilled but a bit dry, and the mutton biryani had decent flavor but wasn’t as fragrant or juicy as I expected for the price.
Portions are fair, and the presentation is neat, but nothing that makes you go “wow.” Service was polite but slow—we had to wait almost 25 minutes for the main course even though the place wasn’t packed. Ambience is nice though, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that’s good for family dinners.
Prices are on the higher side compared to the taste and quantity, so it’s not a budget-friendly place. For special occasions, it’s okay, but if you’re just craving great Mughlai food, there are other spots in Navi Mumbai that give better taste for less money.
Overall, The Nawabs is decent, but not something I’d rush back to unless they step up the...
Read moreDear Nawaab Restaurant Management,
I am writing to share my recent experience at your restaurant, which was unfortunately quite disappointing. Me and my family visited your establishment recently, and despite entering and waiting for more than 15 minutes, no one approached us to take our order. When we tried calling the waitstaff and representatives, they repeatedly asked for more time and ignored our requests.
If your restaurant was fully booked or too busy to accommodate us, we would have appreciated being informed upfront so that we could have made other arrangements, instead of having our time wasted. To add to our disappointment, we were charged ₹30 for water, yet the service provided was not only lacking, but no apologies were made for the delay or inconvenience caused.
I hope you take this feedback constructively and consider improving your service standards and communication with customers. It would greatly enhance the overall dining experience at...
