Annapoorna Snacks Centre — Restaurant in Pune

Firstly I would apprise that I used to visit this place literally EVERYDAY and inspite of some major hiccups in their service like unhygienic drinking water they give, pathetic and slow service , unresponsive and untrained staff, (they even take 30 minutes to serve a plain maggi) ... Still I used to visit it regularly and also recommend to my friends because of its cheap and tasty food.

But Talking about my last visit, I was with a friend and had purchased a vadapav from nearby shop and suddenly craved for a juice from Annapoorna. So we entered the place holding a small half-eaten vadapav in my one hand, i placed the order and paid also and sat at one of the tables.

Within 2 minutes before we can even receive our order, the man at the counter started shouting at us saying how can i eat outside food here. (It's an open air space by the way). He talked in a very bad and mannerless language (padhe likhe nhi ho kya/bahar jao yaha se/order cancel kro Inka.. and so on ).

They humiliated us in front of so many people, cancelled my order, threw us out of the place without paying me back. Obviously i could not go back to take my money after such an embarrassment.

I agree outside food is not allowed at restaurants. But it was just a small vadapav which i was holding in my hand which was already almost eaten and it is not as if i was having a full-fledged meal in a plate or something.

I had already ordered something from this place and was waiting for it. Instead of shaming us they could have politely warned us by coming closer to our table, and let us receive our order.

But No, he started shouting on top of his lungs, questioned my education, embarassed us in front of so many people and even cancelled our order which we already paid for. They could have been little polite as i was their everyday customer.

Obviously we would not be going back to this place, they have lost their one loyal customer, and will not be advising anyone to go like I used to do before.

The least you can do is talk to your customers with manner and not question their education.

P.S. -. In my uncountable visits to this place, i have already tried their vadapav and it was not properly made. So that's why I don't buy vadapav from this place, otherwise most of the food...

The worst person I have every meet in my entire life, the woman in who is Handling the cash counter, the worst costumer service. She have the problem to speak to the costumers. "She scold us why we ask the price of stuff, she says we are educated so why we ask her, read the menu. She insulted my friend also that she told her last time also read the menu don't ask." I asked her why she is rude... She says , why! What! do I(me) have any problem. She says don't ask from next time, read the menu. I don't know she is the owner or an employee. The worst human i have ever come accross in Pune. The attitude she have is unbearable.. the way she way looking at me was like she wants to jump on my face. At first we like their tea so we goes everyday on our office break time. Now sorry we will never go untill she is gone. She needs to be sweet with the customers. There are lots of resturants and tea stalls around who gives the best services. She thinks she is the only one. I swear il never recommend any of my friends to go there. Il hold back...
