Chai Katta — Restaurant in Pune

Everytime I visit Pune, it has become a mandatory thing for me to pay a visit every evening. This Cafe/shop is located on the main road of Bavdhan and can easily be noticed. . . Regarding the cafe, they have both outdoor and indoor sitting area.. Ambience is really good and is always crowded. Outside sitting area is perfect as one can always feel the cool breeze (as I had visited during monsoon season only). . . Now, comes the food part. Am just fond of their Chai and they have really good varieties of chai.. Amrutulya is the best and one must try. Do try their Ginger as well. They also have a variety wherein you can choose two flavors of chai. Also, had tried their Pasta (white sauce) both Egg and Veg. Both the Pasta's I had were too creamy and cheesy and their taste was truly marvelous. Bombay Masala Sandwich is good but taste more like aloo toast or may be it is that.. couldn't find a difference though. Anyways, it tasted good. . . Overall, cost wise, it's one of the best Cafe I have visited in this area and will keep visiting whenever in Pune. As I find it decent and in Budget. I would always give a thumbs up to this place for such great service and...

This place is very nice because the place is bit small but the sitting arrangements is so nice that it feels good.The taste of items they serve is nice.The overall pricing of all the beverages are moderate.Here you have to first order and pay then the order is served on your table.Serving staff is Good.Now about the food i ordered , 1.Egg Temptation Burger. 2.Gulkand Chai. 1.Egg Temptation Burger :- It Tastes good.This burger have half fried egg, cheese slice ,onion rings and on that chili flakes is sprinkeled.Overall at on the bite of burger it gives all the flavours.So good thing to try. 2.Gulkand Chai :- This is new taste or i would say new flavour of chai.This is quite sweet and gives nice flavour of gulkand.It tastes good. Update Aug-2025: We did a cozy birthday party at their upper floor seating. It's small but sufficient for destiny and dining of abt 20 people. Though, with 20 people, not much space is left for games or activities. Food was great, service was prompt and polite as usual. Manager Jayant ensured thet we had a good deal that was worth it!

Once again today, Tasty snacks. Prompt staff. Prepaid system. Nice wooden tables and stools giving classic feel. Of course it's open air, only fans, no a/c.. But you can't expect all that like a 3* hotel from a small outlet. All in all its a good joint. A big plus is that it serves till midnight. Tea varieties...
