The South Story — Restaurant in Pune

South Story is located on NDA Pashan Road. Landmarks are next to Habbis hair Cutting salon and Chai katta. Another landmark is near ICICI Bank and Axis Bank. I visited South Story on a Sunday morning at 8 a.m. thinking it would be crowded. But I was the only Customer there besides a Zomato guy waiting for a pick up. It took the standard amount of time for delivery of my order. (10-15 min) The delivery is done properly in boxes and sealed envelopes. I had ordered medu wada (Rs.59/-) and Masala dosa. (Rs.79/-). Accompanied by sambar and two chutneys. The standard Coconut and one red coloured. I think the medu wada batter was fermented for a longer Time as it tasted like that. The Masala dosa was probably good but since it was packed hot directly in the box it got all soggy and elastic. Maybe if they poked a few minute holes in the box it would take care of this problem. The regular Coconut chutney was normal but I liked the Red...

Only If you are a college boy or girl.. Then this restaurant make sense for you to spend time with your friends...

Now more details: Ambiance : not so good, it is okies. I mean too much unhygienic.. Stray dogs sitting with you.. Rain water dripping on your table, only one staff to take care of 10± tables.. It's not that good.. But ur college person just want to spend time then yes you may like it..

Service: too slow, only one person for complete restaurant.. It's too much burden on him, same person also do a billing as well..

Food: only thing good is food that too masala dosa.. Crispy and very good chutney.. Idli is soft but it do not have the texture... Of South india..

Overall I feel it's for college students only, not...

They did a huge social media marketing when they started the business here.

No table was Clean when we arrived when there were no customers at all. The staff was busy watching cricket match instead of paying attention on customers and tables.

The food: All food items like Masala dosa, Uthappam and idli were fairly good in taste. No complaints to both chutney.

The sambar on the other hand was good but had dominating flavour of Carom seeds! Who does that ? I've visited all South Indian states and no where I found Carom seeds in any type of Sambar .

Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?
