I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Domino's Pizza that has left me feeling deeply frustrated and dissatisfied. When I walked into the store, I was hoping to enjoy a quick meal, but instead, I encountered some of the most unprofessional and rude behavior from the staff that I have ever experienced in any restaurant.
To start with, the person at the counter seemed completely disinterested in taking my order. They were busy chatting with a colleague and didn't even bother to acknowledge me for several minutes. When they finally decided to take my order, their tone was dismissive, and they acted as if I was inconveniencing them by simply being there. I tried to ask a few questions about the menu, but their responses were curt and unhelpful. It felt like they were doing me a favor by even talking to me.
Things went from bad to worse when I noticed that my order was taking far longer than it should have. When I politely inquired about the delay, the staff member rolled their eyes and gave a sarcastic remark about being "busy." There was no apology, no attempt to update me on the status of my order—just a complete lack of care for the customer. It was clear that the staff had no interest in providing even basic customer service.
What really pushed me over the edge was when another customer had a problem with their order, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the staff started arguing with them right there in the middle of the store. Normally there is lot of rush during peak hours. We had ordered pizza online during Ganesh festival around 8 pm and it was not delivered on 30 min. After 45 mins the order was shown delivered so I had to go to shop to check. They were so busy that they were not picking up phone. On going there it took 15 minutes of arguments to get the person visit home and deliver the pizza. They said he was late as there was huge traffic of Ganesh festival. And the order was marked delivered by mistake. Had to do some arguments to get the order converted to free. They said will do but I insisted to get it cancelled, finally they acted and conveyed order to bad order status and two days later I got sms that refund will be issued in 5 days. Hope they give the refund. The things do not work as designed in India , services are difficult of get as promised, just that in the end somehow they seem to have delivered pizza after an hour and initiated the refund,which I had to ask for and personally visit the store.
