This is located inside the Ambrosia Resort and Spa complex. It has been dolling out delicious food and deletable drinks for almost 2 decades. You enter this gothic stone archway and follow the signs to the frangipani restaurant which has a beautiful Japanese style garden whee a wooden staircase leading up to the restaurant on the first floor. The ambience is breathtaking with buddha statues and tastefully decorated indoor and outdoor seating areas. Truly opulent yet classy. Had the previlege of receiving an invite to taste their newly released 12 special Zodiac cocktails. We were served one gem after another by their inhouse mixologist Mr Sathya which were not just unique in flavour but also visually stunning. These are the cocktails : Airy Aries Taurus Margherita bomb Gemini gin & tonic Cancer mood ring shots Leo flaming sunset Virgo Cuervo Libra colada Scorpio bourbon squeeze Smoky Sagittarius Capricorn Sage Tini Fizzy Aquarius Pisces Fish bowl My very tough choice favourite was the smoky sagittarius. Apart from this tasting Mr Sathya served us a few of his best cocktails he is truly a great exponent of his craft. His green apple and basil martini was so flavourful and balanced. Starters ~ Pineapple Cheeze Cherru- as the name suggest it is cubes of pineapple Cheeze and topped with a cherry served on a bed of cling wrapped ice. I am going to try this at home too. ~Mushroom pastry which was well flavoured and pastry was nice and crunchy. ~Veg Croquets another classic perfect Croquets. ~Chicken Angara-Perfectly marinated chicken Tikka soft juicy and flavourful. ~Kebab e lazeez-this signature boneless chicken kebeb has a unique cut and flavours really enjoyed this and you must try it. In the main course we ordered their prawn hakka noodles and just when we though we have seen their best this masterful creation arrived with its delicately balanced flavours and the prawn who freshness was preserved in the cooking gave me a wow effect. This place has it all. Unfourtunaltly for once in my life had no space for dessert so gave it a pass but they have a massive choice there too. So all in all an amazing experience and I recommend you come here with family or with friends or just alone and spend some time take in the beautiful serene ambience and enjoy their lip-smacking drinks and food and you will experience bliss.

This iconic place is one of the finest resort which is more than decade old located nearby Pune located on Bhugaon Road away from bustling city.

Ambience-This place always gives amazing vibes known for its huge and peaceful ambience.

Frangipani has lovely dining decor and is a best place for peace of mind with good food. It has both indoor and outdoor (surrounded by greenery) seating arrangement.

Service - You will surely like their hospitality. Staff is courteous and service is quick.

Now coming to the main part ie food, They do serve some great tantalizing cocktails and mocktails from which I tried Tamarind Margherita which have the sourness of tamarind balance with red chilli, salt, lemon with twist of cinnamon flavor in it. They do serve both in cocktail n mocktail base can select according to preference.

From the appetizers tried Chicken Varuval the deep fried crisp chicken with some green chillies and curry leaves the perfect bar nibble which must be in checklist.

Tried winter salad in both veg and prawns, both are totally amazing. Dressing oil was little but the taste goes well with spinach and crunchy veggies, prawns were fresh and have that crunch texture.

Do try there tangdi kebab and Veg Manchurian both are amazing.

From the mains, tried the Mutton Rogan Josh and Dal Maharani both were totally outstanding. Rogan Josh have that desired tarri on top with succulent mutton which goes best with rice dishes. Dal Maharani was cooked on the point, which was slight thick the only point is salt was missing.

From the dessert, had the classic gulab jamun which was totally awesome. Gulab Jamun was soft and almost melt in mouth. Highly...

Nostalgic hits very hard when you see this place. Almost after 7-8 years i got a chance to visit ambrosia. And i was super excited to try out food there. And no doubt everything was amazing. From the ambiance to the service to the cleanliness. Everything was just perfect. Here you get both options for seating, outside as well as inside. Easily 50 people can be accommodated. Service was superb. Food was served within time. Staff was polite. Cleanliness was maintained properly. Food was amazing. I had Tangdi Kebab: Great portion with amazing taste. Chicken was cooked perfectly in tandoor and marination was medium spicy. It was a perfect partner for any kind of drink. Chicken Varuval: deep fried small chicken peices served as a starter. Must try. Mutton Rogan Josh: This is one of my all time fav dishes. Soft and tender mutton peices cooked in red spicy gravy. Portion size was amazing and 2-3 people can enjoy it. Some amazing cocktails gave us great company while having this food.

Overall it was great experience to visit this place after long time. Must visit...
