I visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning and had a chance to try their Rawa Onion Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, and Idli. The overall experience was a mix of excellent food and a slightly challenging wait time.
Starting with the food, the Rawa Onion Dosa was crispy, perfectly spiced, and had a delightful crunch from the onions. The Mysore Masala Dosa was equally impressive, with a flavorful, tangy chutney spread inside, paired with a well-seasoned potato filling. The idlis were soft, fluffy, and paired wonderfully with the accompanying sambar and chutneys, which were fresh and rich in flavor. Each dish reflected authentic South Indian flavors and was prepared with evident attention to detail.
They also serve onion chutney that's very delicious, if you ask for it.
However, the wait time was a drawback. Despite arriving in the morning, I had to wait approximately 45 minutes before being served. While the restaurant was understandably busy, such a long wait might discourage some visitors. That said, the staff remained polite and efficient, ensuring that once we were seated, the service was smooth.
The ambiance was simple yet welcoming, and the food quality made up for the delay to some extent. I’d recommend visiting during less crowded hours to enjoy the experience more fully. If you’re a fan of authentic South Indian cuisine and don’t mind a bit of a wait, this spot is worth...

Read moreI visited Idlicious with a couple of friends from college, after hearing some strikingly awesome reviews from some south Indian friends in college. I was pretty sure that if they have said such good things about the delicacies served here, I am in for a great sumptuous south Indian delightful lunch.
So, we ordered Uttapams, Masala Dosas, Onion Masala Dosas, Curd Rice, Rava Dosa, Masala Chaas and Idli Vadas. To say the least, everything was nice, but prepared in pure south Indian style. Many of my friends from the upper half of the country didn't like it, as the items were little bland and not spicy as were expected by them.
It was probably occasional, but potatoes in dosas were not boiled and mashed properly and were somewhat raw, but Curd Rice was amazing to say the least. Same goes without saying for Rava Dosa which was superbly crispy. Onion Tomato Uttapams could have been a little more crispier, though they were good. Masala Chaas was awesome, I particularly liked the tinge of mustard seeds in it, which added an altogether different flavor to the drink.
A must visit place if you want to try pocket-friendly authentic South Indian...
