Weekends bring happiness, and it becomes all the more exuberant when you are invited for a FOOD TASTING SESSION on a pleasant Saturday evening.
A lovely place where I was able to gorge on a delicious multi-cuisine spread under one roof.
Yes, The Street Park โ Baner is a happening spot for everyone who loves to spend quality time with family & friends, melody, fantastic ambiance, and a cool winter evening. JOLLITY GUARANTEED!
Located on the main Baner Road with ample parking space; it is a unique joint where they have a dining area at the centre and food counters around it. Like a CHOWPATI or a KHAU GALLI. A cool concept with excellent lighting and cheerful crowd gives you jolly vibes.
Thanks to Ms. Pragati who received us with a grin and asked us to choose a table. After a while; magic began at:
The Street Bar The mixologist rolled up his sleeve, and served us with refreshing drinks. Enjoyed the Mocktails especially.
Cocktail: ๐ท๐ฅ๐ฅ TSP Bond Fire
Mocktails: ๐ธ๐น๐ฅ๐ง๐พ Pineapple Sunshine Street Milky Apply
Starters: ๐๐ The Belly Cheer (@vrindavankulkarni) came up with: Mackerel Fry: The catch was fresh; the presentation was nice but what lacked was the expected taste. A spicier version would have done magic. This was too bland.
Eurasian Prawns: ๐ค๐ค๐ค This was something I never had. Prawns tossed in a Cheese, Chilli, and Tomato based sauce served on a bed of Iceberg Lettuce was imaginary groundwork. The sweetness from the prawns jelled well with the sauce upholding its own exclusive taste. Deliciousness exploded with the first morsel itself and I was already asking for more. Simply JHAKAAS I must say. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
Nanza โ Desi Pizza: ๐ฅ๐๐ฅ Paneer Tikka Nanza: A unique phenomenon that packs the palatability of NAAN and PIZZA in one splendid combo. Indian Naan base slathered with Pizza sauce and topped with cubes of Panner, Onion, Bell Peppers and Chilli Flake sprinklers. A decent preparation especially for vegetarian patrons.
Tutu Pepe: A Pizza joint with a plethora of Pizza Combos served us an enjoyable Half Farmhouse & Half Margarita Pizza. A delight to the vegetarians.
World Tapri: @bhushanganorkar Naga Chicken Wings: ๐๐ค๐ Hot and Crispy Chicken Wings deep fried and tossed in a hot spicy Naga Morich sauce which they claim to be Bhut Jholokia chillies. The wings were flawlessly delicious but not in Bhut Jholokia for sure; as one bite of this Raja Mirch makes you run for water.
Now comes the show stopper spread by:
Dil Se Desi: @bhushandeshpande Table Top Chicken Tandoor Tikka: ๐๐๐ค๐ Soft kebabs marinated in their in-house spice mix served on skewers on a table tandoor (A copper jar tandoor heated with charcoal and skewered kebabs directly exposed to the fire generated by charcoal) finished with Ghee and Cloves. Ma Ma Miaaaaโฆthose delicious kebab chunks exploded with flavours after every bite.
Mutton Rogan Josh: ๐๐๐ฅฉ What an aromatic Mutton Curry dish of Kashmiri origin this was. My personal favourite. This was super close to the authentic recipe and taste. Relished it to the core. A signature recipe from the Kashmiri Cuisine; this Lamb Stew (Josh) is slow cooked (Dum Pukht) in Ghee (Rogan) with a deep red colour which it gets from Kashmiri Red Chillies & Ratan Jot โ a dried flower from the valley.
To conclude, we were served:
A Cafรฉ Mocha by Melteโ โโโ
Deserts by Envision Patisserie: ๐ฅฎ๐ฅง๐ฐ๐ฉ Chocolate Glazed Doughnut Kitkat Doughnut White Chocolate Brownie
It was indeed a memorable tasting session with fellow foodies, delectable food, jolly good ambiance, flashy music, fantastic lighting, top notch service and a chilled winter evening. Weekend sorted for sure.
And as I always say, Satisfaction Guaranteed ๐๐๐
Thanks Shruti Vinod for extending the invite. And Kudos to everyone who served us that plethora of...

Also tried there, bun cheese Omeltte where I found it need some work on it. Omeltte was not spicy as it used to be with salt missing in it, sweetness from the bun was on higher.
Mutton Kheema was delicious but was kind of dry where it need to be little moist.
Not to miss here is Irani Chai and Bun Maska.
World Tapari The concept is to serves the best of delicacies of the streets from in and around the corner of the world.
We tried there, Naga Chicken Wings which was totally awesome chef plays well here to balance the taste with flavor and spice level of the chillies. Wings were succulent tossed and coated well in mild hot sauce sweetness perhaps from BBQ sauce which makes it more interesting. Highly recommend for this.
Banh Me (Chicken) was totally amazing, baguette filled with mild sweet soy sauce tossed chicken along with Sriracha sauce make it more awesome. Highly recommend for this.
Mutton Ghee Roast was not that appealing for me it had turned to the mild sweeter side and seems like butter chicken gravy. But mutton was tenderize to perfection and absorb the spices. Parotta serves along with it was flaky and slight crisp which goes best with it.
From the dessert, tried there dark chocolate mousse and tiramisu both were show stopper. Mousse was light, airy and creamy which just melt in mouth leaving the note of bitterness from the dark chocolate. Tiramisu was just amazing, creamy and soft airy with notes of coffee in it make more interesting. Both desserts are amazing and highly recommend.
Gourmet Chinese The great place to satisfy indo-chinese cravings with some great dishes.
Tried here, Spicy Pan-fried Chicken Momos for which fillings were good but sauce does not that appealing.
Veg Spring Rolls were too good, crisp and fillings was delicious sauce was awesome.
