You get pretty standard fare. A vegetarian thali for about RS.60/- is pretty inexpensive. It's served with two vegetable dishes (sabzi) chapatis and dal chaawal, with one papad, some cucumber/onions for salad, pickles and one small glass of buttermilk (also known as chaas).

The chapatis, rice, dal and veg dishes are unlimited. So, if you're really hungry, broke, or wanna stuff your face to your nose for lesser than $1, this is the place to go.

The veg thali is for 90rs but their advertising is misleading. They charge extra money for curd, sweet and any other items which shown in thali. Actually for 90rs, only rice,roti,2subjis are given, which is fine as rates are same as per that area standard. This mess serves bland and tasteless food throughout the week except on Sundays and Thurdays, and i wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this place on any other weekdays. Don't let the crowd fool you, because the only reason students come here is because there's no other option for mess anywhere nearby, so they're all forced to consume dull, boring and flavorless...
