Mogra Veg Restaurant and Banquet — Restaurant in Pune

The food was not worth the price given. Also the quantity of each item was very less. They try to give a premium experience but lacking even the basic thing which is the quality of the food, the pricing and BASIC MANNERS TOWARDS GUESTS. Here's a detailed review of each of the dishes that we ordered and an absolutely weird encounter we had with one of the staff (the manager I am guessing):

We ordered the Pesto Paneer starter. The cost was INR 415. Not at all worth the high cost. The quantity was very less and the sauce was anything but pesto. My brother is a hotelier and was present with me there and himself knows how to make pesto sauce but this was not it.

Then we ordered the Jalapeño Cheese Poppers costing INR 325. Again, quantity and price do not match. Only 8 small pieces given.

The Minestrone soup was only half a bowl of tomato soup with some veggies in it. No salt as well. Very bland.

The Veg Spring Roll we ordered were decent but we've had better.

For the main course, we ordered the Pasta Barbaresca (pink sauce with spaghetti as choice of pasta). The dish was decent but this manager (a bald headed, pot-bellied guy whose name I don't know) did the most outrageous thing. While I was eating the spaghetti, he came to me and TOOK THE CUTLERY FROM MY HAND AND STARTED TO SHOW ME HOW I SHOULD EAT MY SPAGHETTI!!! My brother (who is a chef and a hotelier at a famous 5 star restaurant) says that this is the worst thing you can do to a customer and one should never touch or take the cutlery from a customer's hand while they are eating and should let them eat however they want. Even though this dish was decent, the quantity was not worth the price (INR 550)

We also ordered the Risotto 4 Formaggi. It was absolute rubbish. Just arborio rice in white sauce and 4 types of cheese. No taste whatsoever.

The American Crispy Corn was over fried and extremely salty. Not worth it at all. The crispy corn over at Barbeque Nation is extremely well made and much better than this.
