On our recent visit here, we found Service was very slow. It took 15-20 mins for a simple dosa with cheese We reminded them to serve us masala separate thrice. But in vain. We got a very soggy dosa with masala in the dosa. And very scanty quantity of cheese over it. After eating 2-3 morsels we found the dosa had a crawling creature on it in the inside. On bringing it to the notice of the management, he said upar se gira hoga, zaad se! ( Must hv fallen from the tree above) We brought to his notice that they had covered the area with a pandal. He insisted we eat it after removing the insect, which we refused. He reluctantly went in and was communicating in some other language which we could not grasp. We waited for few minutes, but already the order was slow and we had to hurry leaving the plate as it is for commitments that followed.
Vada sambar 2/5 Though sambar was hot , chutney was not served properly. We asked for more chutney and received some when we finished eating the wada. Wada was cold.
Dosa with cheese masala separate 1/5 Dosa was soggy, broken, masala was not separate, sambar, chutney was served late. Cheese was scanty.
Don't think we will visit this...
Read moreYenna Dosa has quickly become my go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying breakfast. The food is truly amazing, especially the idli – so soft and melt-in-your-mouth, it's impossible not to fall in love.
One of the best things about Yenna Dosa is the quick service. It's perfect for a weekday breakfast when you're short on time but still want a delicious meal. They tend to get quite busy on weekends, so if you're looking for a relaxed sit-down experience, a weekday visit might be ideal.
While I haven't tried everything on the menu, the idli is an absolute winner. However, their dosas are equally delightful! For future visits, I'm definitely going to have to branch out and explore their wider selection of South Indian fare.
Yenna Dosa is a fantastic option for a casual, vegetarian breakfast or brunch. The food is delicious, the service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. Just be aware that it can get crowded on weekends, so plan your visit accordingly. If you're looking for a new breakfast favorite in Pune, I highly recommend giving...
Read moreA soulful taste to remember !!
During my latest visit to Yenna Dosa, I accidentally forgot my mobile wallet near the delivery table. I realised it after 20 mins of coming home. I rushed back to the place, extremely worried, but also almost NOT expecting to get my wallet back. The wallet had my mobile phone, cash, credit / debit cards, aadhar / pan card and what not !!! As soon as I reached to the place and enquired about the forgotten wallet, the elderly smiling gentleman in the cashier's chair, and a smart looking young man (probably the manager) quickly verified me and returned my wallet safe and sound!! Technically Yenna Dosa and its staff could not have been held accountable for the lost wallet, however the exceptional sense of care, alertness, politeness and charm shown by Yenna Dosa men was heartwarming.
Generally their menu items are incredibly tasty. But this time the taste was soulful, spiritually satisfying !
Good luck,...
