Richie's Cake Shop — Restaurant in Pune

I visited few days back for the birthday celebration of one of my colleague and bought the Red Velvet Cake which was delicious though. Here's review of my experience.

Wanted to pickup a cake on my way home from office but the nearest cake shop on my way was at Warje, which was an off ride for me. Did a quick search on Google and found some cake shops in Bavdhan.

Richie's cakeshop had the highest number of reviews and ratings were above 4+, hence decided to buy a cake from here.

The cake .. I must say was the worst one I ever had. I specifically asked for a less creamy, less watery cake and what I got was completely a disaster. It lacked taste, the lower layers were flat, no sweetness at all and it looked as if it was sprinkled with watery syrup here and there. YUK..

Don't know if it was my bad luck or what but will never recommend this cake shop.

Stay away, try some other cake shops but not this one.

What is the point in calling the bakery when I know I am not going to buy anything from them again. Also, from the way you are responding, I don't think the bakery or you would have accepted my complaint.

If you want, you can come and collect the left over cake for your analysis.

Instead of accepting that there was some mistake, you try to cover up by cross questioning customers and this is evident from majority of your responses to negative reviews.

To answer your query, I mentioned the lower layers were flat and the watery syrup was randomly sprinkled in the upper and middle layers..Hope that solves your mystery.

Instead of taking cognizance of the complaint, you feel it is important to argue with customers. This shows your arrogance attitude...
