#SeaFoodFestival #AmazingExperience Have you been to the Ongoing Seafood Festival at Saffron?? If Yes then Fantastic, if No then u must plan soon because this event is not be missed. I went there yesterday and witnessed the Amazing Seafood variety at Saffron. Butter Garlic Lobster- Star of the night, fresh, hefty, good-looking lobster made in very delicious butter Garlic sauce. Creamy, sweet, garlicy flavours very well balanced with the meaty tender lobster. Dug my fork in the warm garlic lemon butter and indulged into the goodness of lobster meat.I am short of words to describe it's mesmerizing and soothing effect. Try this at saffron and thank me later!!

Crab Malvani Curry - While I was thinking of all the options to savour Chetan got 2 dancing crabs in front of me and diverted my mind in gobling off those 2 beauties.Of all the options I was informed that Malvani is the restaurants speciality and then no thinking more, ordered this immidiately. In minutes I had this super- aromatic Crab malavni curry set on the table. Piping hot curry with sutle flavours and a very enriching colour. The amboli I had ordered along went perfectly with gravy. Swooped in the crabs one by one to its ultimate destination. #AMustHave

Khapi Tava Fry - one rare fish that was cooked in Desi style. A fry maslaa mix of red chillies and Kanda lasoon masala was dominant. Khapi has its own taste and can be enjoyed in its simplest form also. Enjoyed the different style for a change.

Also ordered some Bombil rava fry which was a good appetizer. Cooked perfectly with a flour coating. Everything I ordered was outstanding.. I had a perfect seafood dinner yesterday and a flawless experience. Can't forget to mention thier spl fish cut menu cards. Do check them out in the pics. Also appreciate the quick and prompt service by the staff of saffron. Not once did I get a chance to keep my hands down . They were on thier feet serving these delicacies one after the other. Location:Pashan,Pune Saffron has a multi speciality menu serving Punjabi,Chinese,Malvani, Manglorian cuisine etc. It’s been a popular hotspot since 9+ yrs, mainly due to consistency, Quality and warm service . A reasonably large seating area at various levels which permits one to have quiet parties, family get together or corporate dinners. Even a quiet date night. They had a dance floor with live music post COVID 19 which is closed currently. They also do catering for house parties etc.

The owner Chetan Zope recently added various options in #Thali for lunch. This Thali is available from 1pm until 5pm

All preparation are costal predominantly Konkani/ Malvani in nature. We were served #Sukkat_Papad as starter while we waited for the Thali’s to arrive. This presentation was fantastic so crunchy and spice balanced. #highlyrecommended

Every Fish Thali has sukkat chutney, moist chutney (red chilli, Kanda, coconut & amsul) found in this cuisine , option or rawa/tawa fry of fish of your choice, one large bombil rawa fry, Malvani fish curry, rice with option of Bhakri/Chappati/Amboli, onion and off course the refreshing sol kadhi.

Everything on the plate was delicious and delivered from what I as expecting . The Malvani curry was tangy, the red chutney was spot on and the fish was extremely fresh. Sol Kadhi was refreshing. Kindly note the #Rawa_fry is ideal for kids or those who prefer minimal spice. #Tawa_fry is a nice spicy, tangy Masala version which has you licking your fingers!

The #Mutton_Thali had Kheema fried balls, Malvani mutton curry, mutton masala, sol kadhi, onion, rice and option of chappati/Bhakri.

The mutton masala was just too good! Spicy and well balanced. The kheema fry balls were a bit too salty for me .

All the ingredients & fish were very fresh and Saffron has come up with this amazing pocket friendly heavy duty Thali concept! Would definitely recommend you to...

Saffron Restaurant Pashan has added an exclusive Thali menu to their already existing popular food menu.. The thali's include a variety of fish thaali ,Mutton thaali and chicken thali.And boy what a foodgasmic treat that was !! You have the liberty to customise your platter.. It can be a fish fry or can be a spiced up tawa fish along with crisp bombil fry ,sukkat , fish curry that will either have Bhetki fillet or rawas as per availability, choice of roti ,you can opt for chapati ,Amboli or bhakri served fresh and hot..along with a chutney.

1)Pomfret fish thaali..a first for me because crisp rawa fried pomfret ..fresh and mild on spice is served along with the curry and roti of your choice. This is a kid friendly Thali because of its spice level. #Amustorder

2. Prawns thali ,Surmai thali and Crab thali.. All the dishes delicious and cooked with fresh catch of the day. The fish pieces can be easily shared by 2 persons.

3. Another item ..a starter from the menu that is worth mentioning is the sukkat masala papad. This was the perfect start to the meal. Generous amount of spiced up sukkat chutney on fried papad was so addictive that you won't be able to stop at one. #lovedtillthelastbite All the dishes are balanced ..neither too spicy nor too bland just right to enjoy your favourite sumptuous fish thali.

Saffron ..a very spacious restaurant with both outdoor and two levels of indoor seating with sufficient space for social distancing. Sanitizers are kept handy and the servers are all masked up. Due to its spacious interior and strategic location on the highway it's a crowd puller and a perfect place for family get-togethers and parties. Do show your love and give the meals a try ..am sure you won't be disappointed. A total VFM with quality...
