Unfortunate experience of dining at Sandwich Express, and let's just say, the experience was anything but "express." For a place that boasts about having 10-12 branches across Pune, I’m amazed at how they manage to keep customers coming back.

Firstly, the pricing is an absolute joke. I was charged more than what was displayed on the menu. When I pointed this out, the attendant casually brushed it off by saying they "need to change that on the display menu." Oh, so we’re just supposed to guess the actual prices now? Good to know.

As for the service, if you’re in a rush or even mildly hungry, good luck. It took them a whopping 40 minutes to prepare just two sandwiches. Why? Because their priority seemed to be serving Zomato and Swiggy orders instead of the customers actually present. Maybe they should consider renaming themselves to "Sandwich Delay."

The cherry on top was the attendant who decided to tip himself by giving me 5 rupees short in change. If you don’t have the right change, at least have the decency to mention it instead of sneaking it in.

And while I was there, waiting for my over-priced and delayed sandwiches, the table from the previous customers was left dirty for nearly 40 minutes. No one even bothered to clean it until I asked. It’s almost as if basic hygiene is an afterthought here.

So, for all the pride and advertisements about having numerous branches, maybe it’s time Sandwich Express focuses on the basics: accurate pricing, decent service, and cleanliness. Until then, I’d suggest giving this...

I recently visited Sandwich Express NIBM Branch, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The shop has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a quick bite or a casual hangout with friends.

Food: The sandwiches are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. I tried the VEG CLUB GRILLED sandwich and the CHICKEN TANDOORI GRILLED sandwich, both of which were delicious.

Service: The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that we were well taken care of. Our food arrived promptly, and the presentation was on point.

Value: The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. It's great value for money, and I left feeling...

Not a very pleasant experience I must say. I ordered three things ie. Napoleon Grilled Sandwich, French Fries and Cold coffee for taking out.

The sandwich was not grilled well. It was prepared in haste it seemed and tasted that way. The rawness of onions, capsicums and corn used could be felt strongly while eating.

The French fries too were prepared hastily as they certainly lacked the crisp they should ideally have. It was a complete turn off.

Cold coffee was decent and packing of the food items was good. However, taste is something why one usually chooses to eat at an eatery by spending hard earned money.

I hope they better the quality of food going forward and keep their customers...
