Seven - Eleven — Restaurant in Pune

Seems they named Seven-11 considering their USP being Unlimited Breakfast with timings : 0700-1100 AM.

The First big let off was NO Buffet arrangement. They serve at the table after ordering. Then the only person who is at the Billing Counter takes the Orders too, so you have to wait for 5-10 minutes for his attention. Then the person expects that what all you want to eat, the entire table should order it once itself.

With NO adequate staff & mostly inexperienced boys as waiters, the service is pathetically slow. Even water was served after 30 minutes & 5 reminders. All the orders took at least 10-15 minutes & regular reminders. No co-ordination in staff as they did not knew which table has ordered what dish. Below is the Menu which is priced at Rs. 99/- Per Person.

4. Bun Maska - not great, lumpy Bun divided in FOUR quarters

6. Bread Jam- Avg. Quality & Size
7. Pohe - Average taste & cold, small portion in steel plate....fresh from Kadhai to plate is the norm
8. Upma - Average taste & cold, small portion in steel plate....fresh from Kadhai to plate is the norm
9. Uttappa - Average taste & regular size, this was served Hot
10. Idli Sambhar - Average taste & regular size, this was served Lukewarm
11. Sabudana Wada / Khichadi - Average taste & small size, this was served Hot
12. Paratha - PATHETIC, Mix Veg option in extra small size & thinner than an Udid Papad.
13. Tea - Avg. Taste, took order & then after 15 minutes informed that Tea is over & under preparation now, finally after 45 minutes Tea was served.

6 items of the menu were BAKERY as if we are English. Should totally remove it & focus on rest of the Menu. Seems they have no idea of Fast moving Items AND Huge improvement in Service is required. When gave feedback, Sunil Singh the Order & Billing Person had his excuses ready of being under staffed, where the entire CONCEPT of Unlimited Breakfast is wrong. First of all I was surprised to know how can a restaurant provide the unlimited breakfast in Rs.99/- only. So decided to try it. I went there on 23.03.2024 with Aai-Baba at around 9:45 AM. The restaurant is just before the Chandani Chowk. The location on the map is accurate. So we reached there and checked the Rs.99/- breakfast menu. There are total 14 items available under this menu. (Pohe, Upma, Uttappa, Bun Pav, Bun Roll, Cream Roll, Bun Maska, Idli Sambar, Sabudana Wada, Sabudana Khichadi, Batata Paratha, Bread Butter, Bread Jam and, Tea). Out of which, we first ordered Idli Sambar for all. Idli was a bit cold, sambar was not exactly sambar but was good, Chatni was awesome. I liked it personally. Then we ordered 1 Sabudana Wada and 2 Sabudana Khichadi. Both were served hot and very good. Curd served with the same was a bit sour and nice cold. The combination was good. We all liked both wada and khichadi. Then we ordered Poha and Uttappa. Poha was ok. Onion Uttappa was hot and very tasty. Then we had a tea. Tea was also nice. So overall the taste was good. I would rate the experience as not only below the average but also worst.Today I went for breakfast with spouse . They have unlimited breakfast at Rs. 99/-between 7 am to 11 am. We ordered Poha which was not available. We orderd Upma which was also not available but served after 20 minute due to my follow up. Saboodana vada was good in taste but very small in size therefore have to repeat the order. Only one plate Bun maska was served instead of two. Waiter told that now it is not available. Service was poor too and waiter didn’t know which items is available which not. Items were not served immediatly but we had to follow up multiple times.
