Mixed Experience at Hotel Viva Inn
I recently stayed at Hotel Viva Inn and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience.
Location: The hotel's proximity to the highway is convenient for travelers, making it easily accessible.
Parking: While parking is available on the premises, it's not abundant. Keep in mind that space might be limited.
Rooms: The rooms were pleasingly clean and comfortable, offering a pleasant stay.
Noise Levels: Being close to the highway, there's noticeable traffic noise. Guests might want to consider this factor, especially light sleepers.
Dining: The hotel boasts a restaurant in the basement with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Staff: The reception staff was courteous and helpful, contributing positively to the overall experience.
Food and Service: Although the food quality was good, my experience with the service was disappointing. The ordered soup arrived an hour late, and the starter came after the main course, affecting the overall dining experience negatively.
Room Recommendation: I would advise against booking rooms 101-103, especially during events in the morning. The noise from moving chairs and tables was disruptive, compounded by existing traffic sounds.
In summary, Hotel Viva Inn offers a convenient location, clean rooms, and a diverse restaurant. However, improvements in timely service would significantly enhance the overall...
Read moreI had booked the Room at an 11th hour requirement. VIVa Inn has a perfect location but it fails to take advantage of the perfect spot and have real good quality rooms. The Reception portrays a really neat and classy look of the hotel but the room I had booked disappointed me equally. Color faded walls, old flooring, old n dusty oder inside the room and so goes the image of a perfect room low n down. The room images displayed on the web-site are absolutely filtered and fake glorified and not at all as we expected. I checked-in the Hotel at late night n checked-out next day morning, assuming that at least I will hv a good breakfast. The hall they had assigned for breakfast had conference room chairs to sit, scattered ramdomly (not arranged) and had fewer tables to them.. which really almost killed my morning appetite. I'm a breakfast person but their "Breakfast Included" package had bread (no butter and you have to toast it yourself If you want to), upma (which had literally no taste at all) and I guess there was 1 south indian dish too which, by it's appearance itself, made me not even taste it. Also..only luke warm and no hot water in bathroom was available. All-in-all.. not at all worth the money or I would say even for any discounted rate they offer. VIVA definately needs to Upgrade almost every aspect of it's...
Read moreWe checked in the hotel at 31st December night. The watchman promptly assigned us the car parking which i liked. However the room was nowhere worth of its price. Bedsheet was not clean. There was a bedbug on the bed. Bathroom was big but there was lukewarm water. It spoiled my mood of new years bath. What is the use of big bathroom if you dont provide proper hot water for shower.
The breakfast was no better either. It was arranged in conference type room where conference chairs and tables were arranged without any alignment. There was one careless attendent for breakfast counter who had no idea how to serve breakfast. Later he disappeared. The jam bottle was fully covered with jam from outside and appeared disgusting. Atleast you should have served the jam in container. There was no knife to spread the jam.The Paratha was salty and served with only pickle. Upma was tasteless.
The hotel is not at all worth of its price. Will not...
