Ambiance is simple and on ample amount of space with maintained hygiene ,so that uh can dine inn with your friends ,family or a huge group too. Good to go with pockets too as they are having expected rates according to food. Expenses for 2-1000/- They got all varieties of seafood as well as all other types of non vegetarian and vegetarian food too. They serve flavourful solkadi ,so must try without fail. As i had multiple dishes here and best was 1)crab soup-I had never tired crab ever before but it was an amazing and yummy experience for me to do so. The crab soup was a type of clear soup having meat of crab and some black pepper too. Was full of flavours and protein .Must try. 2)Butter garlic prawns-I personally love prawns more in sea food ,but this dish got me more closer to prawns love. Fresh prawns were shallow fired in butter and garlic .This dish is a bit sweet in taste but truly mouth watering .Even the prawns were perfectly cooked, neither more nor less.So if you want to try a bit sweet dish in sea food then surly try this. 3)Prawns masala -A comboo of flavours and spices together .In this the prawns were sautéed in there special masala ,garlic, onions ,chili and was served with there special caramelised onions with there special kala masala. This dish was good but i will still stick to butter garlic prawns. 4)Surmai ulta pulta-Strips of surmai was shallow fried with spices and garlic ,plus there secretiveness of kala masala .Plus the dry masala had fried and spicy onions into it ,which made the dish more spicy and tasty.Totally goan side dish .Well cooked and boneless fish makes our mood more blissful to eat them.Again a must try dish. 5)Pomfret tawa fry -This dish is simply worth trying as the pomfret was dressed up with there masalas and species and was just fried on tawa until it gets cooked inside and crispy outside. Personally im not big fan of this dish as this fish is full of bones and is not fun having this . 6)Chuliwarcha Chicken-Typically gavran dish .This was mind blowing curry which was cooked with chicken and there onion ,garlic etc paste and spices on earthen stove which is made of bricks ,some mud,and wood logs to fire the stove .This gives a unique flavour to the dish which you will surly love it. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED 7)Tandalachi bhakri -This is an Maharashtrian style bread which is made up of rice flour.Healthy ,soft, and great in taste.Goes good with all seafood dishes, mutton, chicken etc. 8)Bhat-Boiled rice well cooked with ghee into it .soft and moist .Goes best with mutton and chicken gravies .Again STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. 8)Solkadi-solkadi is totally love ..as it was chilled and full of flavour of coconut milk ,garlic into it .There speciality ..so must atleast go for this to sip it.
must ask them for there special caramelised onions...
Read moreHotel sinhagad chaupati in karve nagar is a good hotel that serves us a large variety of food items from maharashtrian cuisine. In maharashtrian cuisine there is a large use of spices. The hotel has a big dinning area and the sittings are very impressive just like a भारतीय बैठक.The litting inside the hotel is quite moderate and simple. The hotel has a variety in north indian , chienese and seafood items , but it is mostly famous for its maharashtrian seafood items. The food i had there : Crab soup : It was my first time to have a crab soup. The soup was fantastic and the crab meat was awesomely luscious. The soup has a high smell of crab which is little weird but after having the first spoon of the soup i loved it.The soup had a strong flavour of black pepper which was quiet catchy. The spices were in a proper proportion.
Mandeli fry : Mandeli is a cheapest fish which is found in coastal regions of maharashtra. This fish is daily consumed by some of the people in konkan.Mandeli fry of this hotel was good the outer coating of the fish was little bit thick. The mandeli fish was very crispy and tasty.
Bombil fry : Bombil fry is my favorite dish from this hotel. The batter in which the bombil fish was coated was amazing and had a beautiful taste. The outer coating was crispy but the bombil was perfectly cooked and soft.
Surmai alti palti fry : The fish surmai is a fish which is favourite of many people in maharashtra. The alti palti fry was little bit spicy. The fish had a little bit smoky flavour which i liked. The fish was well cooked and the masala was very impressive.
Surmai Tawa fry : The dish is made by shallow frying the surmai fish on a flat vessel (Tawa). The ingredients used to make the surmai tawa fry were in a balanced ratio which enhanced the taste of the fish. The fish was properly fried and it was juicy too.
Prawns 65 : The prawns used for this dish were huge and juicy. This dish looked spicy but it was mild in taste. The gravy of the prawns 65 was very inviting. The prawns were properly cooked and were very soft and fluffy.
Chicken malwani handi : This dish was served to us as a main course. The gravy of the chicken and fried chicken were served separately. The gravy was awesome and the chicken pieces from the chicken fry were properly mixed in the spices. The way of presenting the malwani handi was very impressive.I accompanied it with Bajra ki bhakri.
