Actually Mukherjee Uddyan is a nice park, but due to lack of planning n more over wrong planning as well d gym instruments r located helter-skelter, their installation as well as installation points r improper, d worst part is they r just installed to display that d job is done, but very sadly also with d absence of d concept of "Maintainence".It's a common sense if there's use of a particular thing then naturally d use is followed by Maintainence.
D even most worst(est) part is that d manufacturing of d gym instruments itself is faulty.Due to which while utilising them there's more of discomfort n inconvenience rather than enjoyment.
Dogs scratching alongside when exercising is so very unhygienic.
Unclean washroom wid absence of flush, wid many a times no water too. Lack of all round thought - very funny so many senior citizens r coming to d park n hilariously "No Commode Facility" is thought of.
A Big Wall Clock is very necessary in d Uddyan but instead of it a small wall clock that hung on d wall near d gate, which was always working out of order has also vanished from its place.
Space is available, funds r always available to develop a sheer necessity like a Public Place or make it even better. Then y so many problems n so many issues bringing about less satisfaction n unnecessary adjustments r noticed???? As far as my brain works - "V r interested in only showing off instead of attending d purpose of d show responsibly n honestly. Whoever it might b,all those who r involved directly or indirectly wid public related issues- shud b working honestly, intentionally n most importantly Dedicatedly is...

Read moreIt is a small garden featuring a playground for kids, with some exercise equipment for adults as well. The garden is well-maintained for the most part. In the evening, a small fountain is turned on which adds to the aesthetic. There is no separate jogging track here, and the paver's block walkway is hardly suited for the same; also the lack of a barrier between the children's playground and the path dissuades such activity. This results is the park being mild zone for exercise, and more suited for a relaxing walk. Several wooden and stone benches have been provided for a comfortable sitting. There is also a roofed circular enclosure in the centre, where meetings and a few other activities may be held. The park also has a drinking water and washroom facility. As of writing, the entry fee is ₹1 per person, ₹20 for a...
