It is a budget eatery. We visited it for dinner with friends. The menu is modest. We were disappointed with the lack of few of the items on the menu. Especially in the desserts section we could not find anything appealing.
We started with garlic bread. It was different, although not particularly exciting. It was somewhere midway between a soft bread CCD offers to crispy ones Pizza Hut offers. We moved on to baked beans cheese sandwich. That was largely a disappointment. The dish was particularly lacking the balance between tastes. The tangy beans and the light cheese was too one sided. Also, the bread had a distinct unpleasant aftertaste.
We also had Meaty Hunger. This dish is was a house speciality. It had french fries topped with chicken sauce, salad and cheese. The taste was good, but the fries obviously became soggy thanks to the sauce. We ended our meal with the chef's special, The Chef Burger. This burger is the reason they got such a good rating from me. Hardly anything bad with it. Liked it. It was definitely tasty, filling and satiating.
The ambience is fairly okay. They have an open seating with no distinction between smoking or non-smoking zones. That was upsetting. The tables and stools had a wooden finish which was appealing. They do not have wash basin/restroom, neither do they provide hand sanitizers which is a definite let down.
The host was welcoming and courteous. There is an ample room for improvement but I do have hopes from this place....

I walked in with a lot of expectations only to realise that often reviews don't quite translate to real-life experiences.
The good: The refreshers were good. Would recommend the aam panna. The ice tea was good too.
Good location and ample space.
Good theme.
Good music.
The underwhelming: A rather ill maintained space with dirt and dried leaves scattered even right outside the counter.
They have a very exhaustive and impressive looking menu. The food itself though is lukewarm to say the least, and literally too.
To be served the tiniest serving of chicken with shredded veggies and what can be best described as potato sauce, not mashed potatoes. I had hoped that this was perhaps a one off instance where it was so, only to be told that this is how it is served at the cafe. I'm not too sure how one would scoop up the potato sauce with a fork and knife. A straw might help.
Again, I had hoped this was just the steak not being done well and ordered a chicken bao. After what seemed like an eternity (we were the only patrons at the cafe) the bao came to our table. The stuffing was good. The bun itself was soggy as it was stored in the fridge till then. A mixed bag then.
Rather disappointed by the service, food, and the cleanliness of the place. Such promise. Such a pity. I truly hope they get better. I will be happy to give them another chance, but I am not sure it will be...
Read moreHad to visit this place after reading the reviews. A small joint off Aundh-Khadki road but like they say, never judge a book by it's cover. This place will surprise you with what it can deliver. Guess the staff in the kitchen is set of friends, all young and good at what they do. A very casual out door sitting setup. They also have a smoking section. Luckly no one was smoking while i was there with my family but wonder how they manage a SMOKING zone in a place that small. Service is fast and courteous. They play absolutely all genres of Music. I heard everything from bollywood tracks to Rage Against The Machine. We started with fries and Chicken pops for the kids - absolutely standard and.no mistake there. We then ordered for the Chef's special burger. It's not only huge but is juicy and brilliantly flavoured, must try. The sheer size and juiceness make it a messy one to eat but totally worth it. Also ordered the becon sandwich ... Again a perfect beltout... The crisp of becon and the softness of melted cheese make it a delight to chew on. Must try again. Chicken momos were not up to the mark , pretty dry. Cold coffee was really nice too. We ordered for Pannacotta for dessert. Well nothing great but nothing too bad either. Will try something else during next visit. All in all a good visit and will recommend meat burger and sandwich lovers to visit this...
