The Urban Kadhai — Restaurant in Pune

Going out to eat does become a little hectic these days and the ever increasimg number in delivery kitchens has made it so much easier for those who don't want to step out, to sit back at home and order in some deliciouss food!

I came across Urban Kadhai located at Wadgaon Sheri that whips up some superrrr good food mainly Punjabi and Chinese (or like I'd rather say Chindian).

So the first and one of the major important things when it comes to delivery kitchens is the packaging! This place is a little far from where I stay and sure it had to face a few bumps before it reached me and there was no spillage and the food was all in each compartment unmixed and warm (the right temperature) when it reached me. So brownie points for that!

Coming to what I tried - The Veg Indian Thaali and the Chinese Combo. Both are meals in themselves and Absolutely lipsmacking. I loved every bite of my meal! The food isn't overly spiced yet it was very flavorful, so makes it best for people living alone or hostelites. I also tried an appetizer, the cheese chaska kebab which was decent, but I felt like it lacked flavor, was very low on salt and other flavors. So if that can be worked on it will make a stunning appetizer!

Overall I'd recommend everyone reading this to give Urban Kadhai a chance to serve you, I'm sure they...

Very much disappointed with the service Even after informing that i am in office and i am not allowed to carry the phone . Also informed to keep the parcel at reception of office on 4th floor to the security ,same was not followed by you guys and i did not receive the order placed and i already had done the payment..i always have placed order in past exactly the same way but never faced any issues .. this was verst experience ever ... Very unhappy with the restaurant service .. will never order again in future as i heard a lot about the food hence thought of giving a try but would recommend the colleagues that don’t make the payment in advance ever as they just take order and payment but even after giving instructions that i wont be able to attend the calls and keep the parcel at reception of office,still they call stating tried to reach you and hence couldn’t deliver the food . This is not the way to do business , u should not give false commitment over the phone when customer is taking confirmation from you and also got confirmation that same would be mentioned to the delivery boy but this was not communicated to the delivery boy and this is the mistake from restaurant owner and...

So you are hungry and away from home but you want the food that's just like cooked by your mother, well here's a new outlet which delivers such food to your place and give you home feels.

What I Ordered?

Starters •Hara Bhara Kebab ( Just peaceful and yummy 😍) •Paneer Tikka ( Loved by my mother ) •Chicken Lehsooni Tikka ( It was tasty but a little dry )

The green chutney served with the starters was just muahhh😘

Main Course •Chicken Kadhai ( It was good ) •Dal Fry ( The comment is got from my family was home made) •Raita ( Even this was good ) •Rice and Roti ( the rice was well steamed and of nice quality & roti had that homemade feel )

The best thing about them other than the food is the packaging of the stuff. It's so well packed and air tight that there is no chance of the food spillage while delivering or even if you store it.

Other thing that I was shocked to see that they provide you with hand sanitizer sachets which I have never seen before by any brand while delivering their products.

Really recommended! A must try! They thrive to serve you the best.
