Today, I visited Basant for their Navratri Vrat Thali, and to be honest, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Each section of the thali was well-organized, and the food was absolutely delicious. However, the kheer was served hot, which was a bit unexpected—I’d have preferred it chilled. Overall, I would rate the thali 4 out of 5. It’s a bit on the expensive side, costing ₹505, but it’s definitely worth it, especially if the kheer were cold.

What really stood out to me was the hygiene and cleanliness at the restaurant, which I would give a perfect 5 out of 5. They provided Dettol liquid soap for handwashing—something I haven’t seen at other restaurants—and I appreciated that attention to cleanliness. However, one thing they could improve is how they handle the tissue papers. I noticed several packages of tissues had been opened and left out in the open, which didn’t seem very sanitary. They should keep them sealed until ready for use.
