Nestled on the 4th floor of CP67, Bira Tap Room offers a vibrant escape with its modern brewery ambiance and a mix of indoor and outdoor seating options. Access is convenient via direct elevator near Marks and Spencers or through the food court with an escalator ride up.

Upon entering, the lively atmosphere immediately catches your eye, complete with a live DJ setting the mood and multiple screens airing sports events. The décor blends industrial chic with cozy seating arrangements, creating a relaxed yet energetic vibe.

For drinks, I opted for their Mango beer, and it did not disappoint. The infusion of mango gave it a unique twist, and the taste was refreshingly good.

Moving on to the food, we ordered Masala peanuts, Chicken wings, and Mutton curry. Each dish was freshly prepared and served promptly. The Masala peanuts were a delightful starter, while the Chicken wings and Mutton curry impressed with their flavors and quality.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience, there was one minor drawback. Unlike many breweries that offer complimentary beer samplers, Bira Tap Room charges for samplers, which might deter first-time visitors who want to explore their range of beers before committing to a full glass. It would be beneficial if they introduced smaller sampler glasses for tasting purposes.

It’s worth noting that Bira Tap Room operates as a tap room rather than a traditional brewery, receiving their beer from a central source and serving it fresh on-site. This setup explains their emphasis on tap beers and the name 'tap room'.

Disappointing Experience at Bira 91 Taproom: I visited Bira 91 Taproom on 12 Jan 2025 for a dinner with my wife, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, we found that the seats were very uncomfortable and the one seat we found good had broken parts. The server's hostile attitude made me think twice about dining at the same place. Once seated, we asked for tasters of beer as it was very difficult to decide from the givenoptions. The server very rudely stated that tasters are not free and you have to pay for it. The server seemed quite disinterested. The food portion seems quite less as compared to the price charged. The ambience was not very welcoming overall and I would not recommend anyone to dine here. The server was so lost that he even brought the wrong bill to us not once but twice. Third time was a charm. Smoking Near Seating Area: While smoking was not directly in the seating area, it was close to it, near the entrance to the outdoor sitting area. This still affected the overall atmosphere and made it uncomfortable for non-smokers.

Charged Tasters: Unlike most breweries in the tricity area that provide tasters for free, Bira charges extra. This practice feels uninviting and out of step with the local standard.

Service Charge: The additional 10% service charge for mediocre service is disappointing. The staff seemed indifferent, which diminished the experience.
