Darbar, a fine dine restaurant located in the Tower 5 of the posh Homeland Heights. The restaurant is beautifully done up giving a luxurious and cozy feel.
Visited a few days back for dinner and tried a couple of dishes.
In salads, we had the Asian Caesar Chicken twist and cous cous salad with smoked paprika. I really liked the chicken salad.
Soups were tom yum and veg minestrone. They were not like the regular thin soups but were heavy and more like Indian Shorba with Indian spices. Accompanied with breads, these tasted quite good and were like a meal in itself.
Starters consisted of Charcoal roasted Soya Chaap, Bruschetta Al Pomodoro, Potato Roastie, Smokey Gilafi Chupa Rustom, Sticky Lemon Chicken, Zaatar Spiced Grilled Fish. The soya chaap, bruschetta and grilled fish were my favourites
For main course I had, Lagan ka gosht and Dal Makhni and both were delicious. The Dal Makhni was creamy and well prepared.
Moong Dal Halwa in dessert was also quite decent.
