Bad experience. Ordered a ravioli, a salad and caprese sandwich. Two of the three were not at all up to the mark. Salad had stale bell peppers and lettuce. Lettuce was totally wilted. I immediately raised it and the argument given was the salad had balsamic dressing which makes it so. Then they brought some leaves of barely standing lettuce leaves on a plate to show and argue that it was fresh. Having lived in Europe, Australia and US - I know well the difference between fresh lettuce and stale ones. I sent the salad back. The owner who was active in the kitchen came back - first question was your first time here?where are you guys from - In a tone that sounded like “who doesn’t like the food here, are you ok? Are you from mars coz all earthlings are obliged to rate us 5/5”. I must admit my expressions where of shock and was appalled by the question and it must have shown, sensing which he immediately went into damage control and said I ask this to all and don’t worry I won’t charge for for the salad - I told him I don’t mind paying for it but I won’t eat it regardless. The ravioli was good and I could immediately sense the freshness, just wish the portion and filling was appropriate - wasn’t that enough for a kid but tasted good. The caprese sandwich tasted ok but was very chewy thanks to a day or two old bread. But honestly that was the best sour dough I had tasted in Tricity. The chewiness just killed it. The owner also presented himself as though he was very interested to get our feedback but clearly seemed unwelcoming to the feedback. All said and done he did exhibit courtesy by sending a free dessert a Tiramisu which too wasn’t fresh, nor did it taste great. all in all I will give a pass the next time I’m around. Respectfully to the owner- I understand finding freshest of lettuce in Tricity isn’t easy but when you are working with not so fresh lettuce you should not dress the salad and serve- instead “consider” serving the dressing by the salad so it’s not dead by the time it reaches the table. Please take this as...
Read moreI went to this place with a lot of expectation as the interiors were good and their menu was highly priced so was expecting great quality. But to my utter disappointment the quality of the pizza was way below average. It was very very soggy , you could hardly lift the slice, it wasn’t hot. And they serve pomace olive oil with balsamic vinegar instead of extra virgin olive oil. I poured it on my pizza expecting it to be extra virgin and I had to throw up. ( pomace is only for cooking , it’s not for drizzling. How can you not know this when you open a pizzeria) The food experience was terrible. Their chicken pizza costs 1350 rs. , it’s way too over priced for the quality they are offering. You can get a much better pizza and service at half the price. The staff was informed about the poor quality of food but they didn’t have anything to say. They just got my bill. I would say the hospitality was poor. Overall terrible experience. Would not recommend...
Read moreLet's get straight into food. Ordered 4 cheese pizza and grilled chicken breast
4 cheese pizza - 7/10 It was made just like an Italian pizza. Thin pizza with a puff at the edge. The only thing was that it was not baked enough. I could see some uncooked dough at the edges. Cheese was just not tasting great enough. Sauce was ok. Basil taste was very little. And the pizza costed around 800. You can definitely have better authentic style pizza in this price.
Grilled chicken - 6.5/10 Some grilled chicken around 150gm or less I think. Quantity was less but it was perfectly made. Juicy chicken breast with amazing flavours. Had a side of rice and some Veggies. Veggies were okayish. Rice were sticky rice. Tasted good.
Overall would rate this place 8/10. Also the ambience was really really good.
If you consider yourself an explorer you can definitely explore this place and enjoy some good pizza. Will update with some more dishes next time...
