The feel of the place took me back to one of my favourite places in Bombay ' Baghdadi'. Although the taste is no where close to theirs. Mansarovar in itself is amazing the dhaba style food and the canteen kinda ordering.. plate ke hisaab se was amazing. Coming to the food we had the Mutton curry which I relished and had two of them and rotis and the kheema ( not a fan of) although my friend loved it. It's a heart meal and the price is reasonable. If you haven't yet then you must visit and try the food. I am sure I ll go back. The review is strictly based on the food I have tasted in and around Chandigarh.

A mutton recepie that is over-40-years old, and has had staunch patrons ever since! These guys know how to cook mutton, and the almost unanimous verdict that locals give of its brilliance is proven right with the first bite. They are also extremely good with their keema-kaleji too. A portion of mutton/keema-kaleji/chicken and 4 tandoori atta chapatis (yes, atta, not maida) costs Rs 160-190. Note*: there are 2 adjacent Mansarovar dhabas; the one that is named Lucky Mansarovar Dhaba is the original, older one. This review is about Lucky Mansarovar Dhaba.

Taste - Ok 3/5 Quantity - Very less 1/5 Service - poor 1/5 Value for money - 1/5 Full mutton boneless plate is for 480, half keema kaleji 220. The quantity was very shocking. Mutton plate had 04 small sized ( equivalent of lemon ). Keema kaleji had 2 Pcs of kaleji only. Waited there for 10 mins but nobody was attending even though table was vacant but waiters were not clearing the tables.

They are Thieves,never ever go to them .

Point wise I'll elaborate

Food is substandard. 2.charges are sky high. 3.qulity of food is not good ,never serve fresh food. The owner's attitude is bad . Service is poor. 6 . Charge for even onions ,that also rs 30. 7.Not coustom friendly 8.contaminaded water,plz buy a bottle otherwise, surely gona catch typhoid. 9.very costly as per quality Very congested Tables are dirty

List may go on but I think that's all what I felt .

I would prefer and recommend the other mansarover dhaba which is adjacent to this one , also that one is the original one .

There is no zero rating , otherwise they would have got that from me .

All positive ratings are paid or just a trap.

I would recommend this place only for people who love mutton. The mutton curry is probably the best in the town, it has great flavor, good spiciness and the quantity is good too. I go here just for having mutton curry and it is always worth it. It is also pocket friendly. The chicken curry and other vegetarian options are also good, have tried those once only, so cant talk about the repeat value but the mutton curry is to die for. The space for eating is small, so you will have to wait to be seated but the service is quick. The place is difficult to find. Food: 4.5/5 (Just coz of the mutton) Service: 4/5 (Quick) Value for money: 4/5 Hygiene: 3.5/5 Seating: 3/5...
