National Bakers — Restaurant in Punjab

One of the worst bakery I have ever seen in Chandigarh and zirakpur. This one opened three branches also, all items are spoiled one cost is too high compared to other bakers. I purchased banana chips branded Chennai star. It's price is ₹80 for 200 gms but these fellows stick their tag and selling at ₹120. You can get this item all over Chandigarh at ₹80. This shop is not worth for money, not at all suggested. We organise a party , for that we purchased gulab jamun. After two hours it smells and bad taste. So this bakery is not suggested, all items which are not sold for the day again it is sold next day. No fresh items available here. Given only one star, for AC only. They make all items in palamoil only. Being a reputated bakery using a sub standard oil for making samosa and pakodas. When enquired he just told it's a raaga refined but didn't told it's a refined palamoil.it will be ok if they change the oil. This Palmolive oil is very dangerous for health . Allmost all branches they use the same oil...

Extremely disappointed and concerned about hygiene.

I ordered a cake from this bakery and was absolutely shocked to find cockroaches inside the cake box. I immediately asked the bakery, and they replaced the cake—but unfortunately, the replacement was no better. This time, I found a strand of hair baked into the cake itself.

This is completely unacceptable and raises serious questions about the cleanliness and food safety standards being followed. I expected a fresh, hygienic cake for a special occasion, but this experience was not only upsetting—it was disturbing.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their kitchen hygiene practices. Until then, I would not recommend...

Believe me, in this part of the town, no one can beat Aloo Patties of National Bakers, their Veg Sandwich, Garlic Bread, The Pao (Brad loaf), Palak Paneer Samosa are also favourite. Their Cake & Pasteries are also popular with customers. The young smart gentleman on counter always on his best behaviour. But elderly man who you find on counter before noon, is rare a gem, a real English gentleman (Punjabi), who will always sincerely care for every customer.
