NIK BAKER'S — Restaurant in Punjab

For someone new to Chandigarh, i have heard the name 'Nik Bakers' way too much and i obviously HAD to visit! Needless to say it does match the hype and was pretty good! I like the dine in options better than the usual bakery stuff. I think the quantity and the taste was pretty good. Their omelettes and the fries were the best of what I ordered. I had my hopes on the 'smoked chicken and egg' breakfast sandwich. While the taste was good, the diced chicken and an omelette in the sandwich did not make much sense. For a breakfast sandwich, I would wish for boiled eggs and thin slices of smoked chicken, but I guess that's how it roles at Nik bakers!

Lastly, for a place like Nik bakers, i would expect fresh, preferably homemade ketchup bottles on the table (hint: Big Chill!), instead of ketchup packets and the back and forth with the waiters "bhaiya do aur ketchup packets" is not the best use of...

I went there with my 2 siblings.The Guard of nik bakers was giving us looks.maybe to him we were just some beggars and to my surprise he asked me to put extra bag outside the cafe he said just take your cellphones and purse I raised no questions and just kept it outside.(There were more customers who bought their bag inside I don't know why they were not asked to keep their stuff outside) food was fine.Then few minutes later the guard entered maybe 3 times to look at our table.i think he just wanted to see if we have ordered something or not.okay so after finishing our food we went outside and than he talked to us Respectfully ps: bcs we ordered maybe more than what he expected or or I don't know.i don't know what went wrong maybe our dark complexion or our simplicity.Atleast show customers right behaviour and treat them...

I was a frequent visitor here, however a single experience ruined my desire to go here again. We ordered food and chatted for a while. To my surprise I was asked to leave as other customers were waiting. Yes LEAVE!!! What kind of a cafe is this ???? A staff member comes to us and asks if we want to order anything else and when we replied no he asked us to clear the table. We were practically thrown out of the premises. I have been to other Nik Bakers in the tricity and never experienced such pathetic behavior. It ruined my entire evening. Moreover there isn't a washroom. Imagine an eating place without such a facility. Also imagine the inconvenience caused to the staff if not the customers (who they expect to stay just for 30 min) ! Worst Nik...
