Pyramid Mohali — Restaurant in Punjab

I recently went to Pyramid with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, and let me tell you, it was an absolute disaster. The highlight of the night was supposed to be the music, but the DJ operator managed to ruin even that.

First off, the DJ was the worst I've ever encountered. Instead of playing the songs we requested, he repeatedly insisted that the owner had forbidden him from playing any customer-chosen music. We tried explaining our preferences countless times, but it was like talking to a brick wall. He just kept denying our requests without any valid reason.

The whole experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. It felt like we were being held hostage by the DJ's arbitrary rules. It's beyond me why a place would advertise itself as a party venue if they're not going to cater to their guests' music preferences.

Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend Pyramid to anyone. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else to celebrate. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a club. Steer clear of this place unless you want your night...

Three things I would like to highlight...one that the first floor seating gives you headache coz of the constant flashing roof lights which makes sitting impossible..moreover it was our anniversary on that day and I requested for a cake which usually is complimentary at other good lounges but here they told that it would be charged a minimum of 500...it was still acceptable to be charged but when I bought a cake from outside which is also allowed in 5 star places...they argued with us for not bring outside food...last but not the least they asked the people around to try tequila shots befooling them and without informing that it was paid instead of labelling the price pretending that it's for free... They are really into money making business playing with the sentiments of customers...I think the only good thing was the band but again the credit goes to the band not the place....and btw who puts lotus stems in salt n pepper! The staff insisting my son to take shakes in this cold weather.. SERIOUSLY!! now I would like to take my star back from...

Pros: Great live music and outside welcoming staff.

Cons: I noticed it in Barnala and Mohali side as well- there were empty tables but they didn’t let us 2 people take comfortable seating but have them take the most uncomfortable seating instead(the bar tables). When asked the staff for the normal seating, they said its reserved for 4 people and we are only 2 people so we can’t take that. But there were 5-6 empty tables until 10:30pm at night and no one came. I would personally recommend you to get some more comfortable seating for 2-3 people as the current one on the main floor is the worst one if you cannot provide them with other comfortable seating. Secondly, we asked for 180ml whiskey and when we measured they only gave us 120. When asked- they started arguing about it and tried to prove us wrong but we already had their measuring glass to show them the exact size. Finally they agreed and brought us the remaining one.
