Sunny Side up — Restaurant in Punjab

We were 5 people, we ordered 5 soups. 2 soups arrived at 9:15, 2 more soups arrived at 9:35, and the last soup arrived at 9:50. In the middle of all this the music is so deafening, you can't hear each other talk. They refused to turn it down.

The food was downright DISGUSTING. Anyone who eats here should get a package deal on heart stents and bypass treatments. They sell ghee, oil, butter, cream and call it different names on the menu. Any amateur tasting this stuff will think wow, I'm eating amazing meatballs or I'm eating amazing green curry or whatever. But anyone even slightly aware of what nutrition is, will know what a shock this kind of richness will cause to your cholestrol, heart health, etc. That's how disgustingly rich it is.

You know, if the food is amazing but super heavy, you can still forgive it and be like ok I'll eat better from tomorrow. But if your food tastes only of cream and salt? It's so irresponsible. Anyone who eats here often is going to get obesity, diabetes and hypertension for free.

I along with my family went to the above mentioned place the previous day, hoping to have a good time. But to my disappointment, the vice versa happened. We ordered in total 4 dishes which costed ₹6143, which includes the GST, but when we were handed over the bill by their staff, it stated that the total cost was ₹8543. These people added a dish which costed ₹2400 which we never ordered. Trusting the service of this reputed place we didn’t check the bill at the time when it was handed over to us but when we did check the bill just for reassuring after we left the place, we were really shocked and disappointed with this act of them. We had to return back to this place from half the way. Upon acknowledging them with their this irresponsible act, they did apologise, returned ₹2520 and updated the bill but still their irresponsibility cannot be justified. Even though we were extremely satisfied by the food quality and the other services as they were Fantastic but still their irresponsible act overweighed the other...

The experience is of 01.01.2024. The decor of the restaurant is good. The music was too loud to have a quite conversation. But the most important part- food was Thai Green Curry. Initially, the veggies were half done, the cabbage, corn and especially the broccoli were raw. When we complained the waiter didn't agree as if we are meant to eat raw veggies in this recipe. Later, he told us Chef will come, which he/she didn't come. After cooking the veggies, when it was again plated to us, we found that the curry was too sweet (seems jaggery etc was proportionately much higher in quantity) and little element of spice left in it (an essential in Thai Green Curry). The balacne of flavors was missing. Kindly chef, google the recipe of Chef Ranveer Brar who he has made with the help of Thai Chef so that you can get to know the authentic style.
