We went to the rooftop of swagat yesterday for a family dinner with my parents. The ambience was nice but the quality of food and guest handling was not good. This was my first time visiting this place and we mostly choose food over the place (maybe even if it is a dhabha if food is good everything is awesome). Firstly after seating water was not served or placed as the main first step of guest dealing no worries maybe it got skipped from the mind of the staff. Next we ordered murgh malai tikka which was kind of not properly cooked as it was really hard to break, still fine we just told them that it was raw and decided to order main course. Ordered butter chicken, after a few bites i discovered a strand of white hair in my bite told the person helping us out with food, he took it to the kitchen and gave the ans that it was not hair but a strand of the polythene in which chicken is wrapped, this means the chicken is not properly cleaned. No appologises nothing. At the end in a very arrogant way he said i gave you 10% diacount on my behalf and disappered. Would never recommend or visit this place again, hospitality is no longer seen these days. Disappointed with the very first visit even more than how excited I was to...
Read moreI visited restaurant for celebrating my daughter's birthday, with extended family. I am not much impressed with the taste.
Location is good at Ranjit Avenue with ample parking space. Seating arrangement is fine and honestly, service is satisfactory. However, taste is missing.
We ordered platter of which most of the items tasted stale and we even asked for it but concerned one refused and confirmed it being fresh, as expected. Noodles, almost tasteless, even without salt. Soup was good. But main course was just normal and you wont feel like wow. Even prices are exorbitant, 115 for water bottle only. Per person would be above 1000 and you will come out like, okay it was. Not worth it.
The place is good with ambience, crowd and service but if you wants taste is food, this is not the place.
3 star for ambience, service...
Read moreWe went to dine 30 mins before closing the restaurant on not so busy evening of Thursday last week. Ordered for butter chicken which only was full cream and no flavor, second main methi chicken which only had taste of kasturi methi. Upon sharing the feedback nor chef nor restaurant approached the table. It was felt we were last table and just make money out of them rather serving proper meals. To add on breads served to us with mains were so hard to chew felt like it's papad not naans. Upon asking restaurant server he mentioned chef aditya and Sadam take care of evening shift. Be careful if you care for valuable service and taste my advice don't risk to go late evening as it will be taken...
