Olive & Greens Zirakpur – My Honest Review 🌿📝 (2/5)

I recently visited Olive & Greens in Zirakpur (SS Emporio Mall rooftop), and honestly… I expected better. 🤷‍♂️

Ambience – 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rooftop vibes are definitely nice. Open air, fairy lights, good seating areas… felt peaceful in the evening 🌆✨ But somehow it still lacked that “wow” factor. Decoration was okay, but didn’t feel premium. Good place to sit and chill for a while, but not enough to make me want to come back again just for the feel. 🪑🕯️

Food – 2/5 ⭐️⭐️ Here comes the main issue. The food looked fancy on the menu 📖, but the taste didn’t match. I tried their thin-crust pizza 🍕 and pasta 🍝 — both were just average. Even some basic Indian food like dal makhani and butter naan was under-seasoned. 😐

Cocktails were another disappointment 🍹— flat and tasteless, felt like just sugar water. One of my friends tried Fish & Chips, and he left half of it on the plate. That says a lot. 😒

Service – 1/5 ⭐️ Very slow service 🐢. Had to remind them twice for water 💧, and our order took more than 40 minutes even though the place wasn’t full. Staff wasn’t rude, but didn’t seem attentive or trained properly. No welcome feel. No follow-up. Just dropped the food and vanished. 😑

Price – 2/5 ⭐️⭐️ Prices are decent. Around ₹1200–1500 for two people. 💸 But even if something is cheap, it should at least taste good or be served well. Offers were there, but what’s the point if quality is missing? 🤷‍♂️

Overall Feel – 2/5 ⭐️⭐️ Honestly, I won’t recommend this place unless they improve. Ambience is the only thing that saves it. Good for clicking 1-2 pictures 📸 and having a quick mocktail maybe. But for proper dinner or special moments – big no. ❌

Amazing new place in town. Rooftop dining area, and has options for covered spaces as well. Very cozy vibe with super awesome food. We loved everything we tried.

1- jalapeno cheese poppers - amazing taste. Not very cheesy but aptly ta

2- margharita - amazing taste. The base was aptly thin, fresh and had an authentic Neapolitan feel to it

3- garlic al funghi pizza - very tasty and one of the best mushroom pizzas. The burnt garlic and mushrooms were perfectly balanced in flavours

4- shirley temple - ginger based mocktail. Was very refreshing and didn't have a very strong ginger taste.

5- oreo shake - was good and one of the better oreo shakes in town. Aptly flavoured and not over sweet

6- cappucino - amazing coffee with apt bitterness and quantity

All in all they have a lot of options on the menu and we are definitely coming back. Their pizza is a must have. They are super value for money. They also have bornfire in the evening.

The Olive & Greens is truly a hidden gem in Zirakpur! From the moment you step in, the ambiance is breathtaking—a perfect blend of cozy lighting, greenery, and a fantastic rooftop view.

The food is outstanding—every dish is freshly prepared and bursting with flavors. I especially loved their pizza , cigar roll paneer tikka. The service is top-notch, with polite and attentive staff who ensure a great dining experience. The live music creates a lively atmosphere, making it a great place for family dinners, date nights, or even casual hangouts.
