Atul Chaat Shop at Rajouri Garden Market in Delhi is a mixed bag of experiences, with its reputation swinging between extremes depending on who you ask. Let's start with the positives. For many, this eatery stands as a beacon of deliciousness in Rajouri Garden, offering an array of tantalizing street food delights. From their flavorful pao bhaji to their mouthwatering tikki chaat, Atul Chaat Shop has managed to maintain a consistent standard of taste over the years, earning them loyal patrons who have been indulging in their fare since childhood. The reasonable prices further sweeten the deal, making it an attractive option for those seeking a satisfying culinary experience without breaking the bank. However, like any bustling street food joint, Atul Chaat Shop has its downsides. One recurring complaint is the lack of proper seating arrangements, forcing customers to navigate through crowded streets while balancing their plates of chaat. The inconvenience is further exacerbated by the presence of persistent beggars, though many patrons have learned to overlook this minor nuisance in favor of savoring the flavorsome treats on offer. Yet, not all experiences are as savory. Some unfortunate souls have been left disappointed by their visit, encountering dishes that fell short of expectations. In conclusion, Atul Chaat Shop is a tale of two tales. For some, it's a sanctuary of scrumptious street food, where every bite is a burst of flavor and nostalgia. For others, it's a reminder that popularity doesn't always equate to quality, and that the chaotic atmosphere and occasional culinary misfires can detract from the overall dining experience. Whether you choose to brave the crowds and sample their offerings is ultimately up to you, but one thing is for certain – Atul Chaat Shop is an integral part of the Rajouri Garden food scene, for better or for worse. The bhaji is so flavourful and mild spicy and the pao are loaded with butter which makes the dish more buttery and yummy served with some lemon chunks and onions topped with tasty green chutney. It comes in half for 40rs and full for 80rs. 2) kulfi faluda - I love their kulfi faluda as it's served chilled and cut into small chunks .The kulfi is sweet and have pista taste but it's not too sweet and faluda topped over kulfi compliments it . After eating chatpata one can have this dessert to give a sweet tooth It cost for 50rs. They serve other kinds of chaat like golgappa, tikki , bhel puri , sev puri etc and all of their food items tastes heavenly. Read moreLocated in the center of main Rajouri Garden market is this famous chat corner that is mostly filled with people across the streets. Since the market is completely occupied with shops and streets are too narrow there isnt any specific parking facility hence you need to find any possible space in the market and park your vehicles.
I had visited this place during diwali days and it was fully packed. I would definitely recommend you guys to visit this place during diwali as they serve a special dish during this time named Chaap with Rumali roti. I had ordered this and knew why is this a specialty of this place, loved the concept of making keema out of beaten chop sticks which makes it a thick gravy dish along with proper peices of chop, it simply tastes Yumm. Also you can try Pao bhaji at this place, its also famous, soft pao along with spicy bhaji served with sliced onions and very tasty green chutney.
Above two are my personal Favourite dishes at this place, apart from them you get rabdi faluda, golgappe, dahi bhalla, papdi chatt, aloo tikki etc.., at this place.
